It was only a matter of time before it would crumble completely. Time to get it repaired. Unfortunately it was too far gone for a repair so a complete tear-down and rebuild was necessary. I received a few bids but I leaned towards Tony because of his positive reviews on several review sites. That and the fact that his bid was very competitive. Also, TK Mason did not ask for a percentage of the payment to accompany the signed contract. Some companies require a payment up front before the work begins and the remainder of the payment due at the end of the job. This was the deciding factor for me. There were a few delays, thanks to our rainy Spring weather but once a clear day was forecast, Tony's guys showed up and started work. They worked on my chimney all day, ripping out the old one and building a complete new structure. Their attention to detail was impressive and their brickwork expertise definitely showed on the finished product. They cleaned up nicely and left me with a chimney that will most likely outlast the rest of the house. I've posted a photo of the chimney taken while our roof was being replaced.

wanted front hedges trimmed - beautiful job…read more wanted neighbor's mulberry trimmed from hanging into my yard and away from my service wires. also wanted my crimson maple just trimmed away from my roof. Owner, Chris, did consult agreeing that maple was in good shape, just needed light trim. crew showed up (not with Chris). Scott trimmed front perfectly. Another young man proceeded to climb my maple. I looked out the window and noticed that he was, what I considered, OVERLY AGGRESSIVE in trimming! They were picking up branches to haul off and appeared to be packing up. I opened window and asked them about mulberry as that was the one I was most worried about. Didn't want it to bring wires down when snow flies. stated they didn't have on work order. I showed him my estimate and called owner - handed worker the phone. They then trimmed mulberry. Would have liked it trimmed the way I explained to Chris but as long as the wires are clear, I let it go. Only reason for 3 stars was punctuality and politeness of crew. Work was done but won't hire again.

I contacted 5 tree service companies for estimates on pruning the 2 very large silver maples…read morehanging over our house and detached garage. We chose to go with A New Leaf because they were competitive and Chris Voss, the owner, took time to review our options, explained everything thoroughly, seemed to care greatly rather than business first and his estimate was very competitive. We booked a date 3-4 weeks out. Yesterday, a crew of 4 guys came to our house with a bucket truck, tractor, trailer. Randy was the foreman of the crew and was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. In 4-5 hours, they transformed our curb appeal, our yard, removed all of the branches hanging our our roof and pruned the entire trees perfectly. The tree's still look like trees, they look healthier and 10x better. We could not be more pleased. Lastly, these guys are VERY GOOD at what they do. Above our garage, they took out some huge limbs that would have fallen and crushed our garage, but the guys used ropes and their skills and experience to remove these branches. I was watching and just waiting for it to hit the garage, but it never did, it was pretty amazing. I am just a normal homeowner and have to say, if you need any tree service, A new Leaf tree service exceeded all of our expectations and they were so easy to work with, you will not be disappointed. I trust them fully and will be calling again the next time I need tree pruning or services.
