Both my partner and I were in a sweet mood this morning. That being said it was very extremely too sweet. Both the pancakes and the French toast. Had such yummy and good flavor though and we enjoyed anyway!!! Ordered bottomless mimosas and all the juices tasted amazing. Side of bacon was crispy and yum and helped balance our sweetness out. Very nice and cute inside. Was so empty when we arrived and it was very cleans and the employees were very sweet with us!
The food, service and vibe are a perfect combination for the beach goer or a local. The food is incredible, don't miss the steak and rice criollo bowl. You'll get two meals out of it and it's packed with protein. Breakfast and lunch is all day until 5, no dinner service.
10/10 no notes!!!! Ambiance is so cute (lots of colorful dishware decor, service was EXCELLENT (staff was attentive, recognized we were not native Spanish speakers and spoke to us in Spanglish, and checked on us numerous times), and last and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price.
We came in for breakfast/Brunch while in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and must say A+ Excellent amazing food and service. Servers are super friendly and hospitable. Coffee/Lattes are wonderful prepared by super talented Baristas - La Mona coffee with hazelnut and Nutella and a Pumpkin Latte with almond milk and cinnamon. Food we had the mofongo benedicts which was so delicious. 2 poached eggs, cilantro hollandaise sauce, churrasco au jus on top of 2 breadfruit mofongo baser and pickled onions perfectly seasoned. also had the Mona Plus 3eggs scrambled bacon, sautéed potato's and French Toast with Crème Brule. The ambiance was homey, happy and so relaxing. cant wait for my next vacation to come here again super excellent, top notch in all.
Great spot to hit in Aguadilla. We went the next day after arriving from WPB. It's been years since I've been here, and I remember going when it first opened up. It's still the same. The quality of food and service hasn't changed. This is a must while you're I. The area. The seating is plenty, but they do lack in parking g. I had a Bacon omelette today and it didn't disappoint. The potatoes are well seasoned and the cheese spread was so good. We will come back for a third time before we go back home.
Great Food & Portions & Friendly Service This is my island favorite for brunch. I'm the only one who wakes up early enough for breakfast in my family so it's always the brunch spot. Good sized servings for the rice and beans plates. Good custom coffees with designs on top. The mocha coffee is my simple go to while my wife likes the other fancy ones best. Good service, our first time the girl took the time to recommend a little know beach that was perfect for snorkeling and relaxing that wasn't on any maps. Nice and clean place. Parking in front or around the side of the building and sometimes they have $2 valet parking with a super friendly guy who is the valet and brought our kids a little treat cup of whipped cream and chocolate.
I walked in to this beautifully decorated restaurant looking and expecting a decent meal and wow I couldn't have been more wrong. It was me against the Sweet Sampler Deluxe and I was sure that my hard hitting palette would be prevail over this flashy all razzle no dazzle plate. My first strike was countered by a slap in the face with a pancake done extremely right, followed by the clothesline of the waffle that were crunchy on the outside but soft inside and I was put in a sleeper hold by the custardy center of the french toast. The meal had gotten the best of me and had wrecked my palette harder than an Undertaker's tombstone. My wife's debut in this summer slamming fest had the rellenitos de pana that hit my tongue with some sweet chin music and burned me on first bite. Stunned by that smack in the taste buds we finished the plate and decided to go again. Yes I ordered another plate. That second plate was too much for us though and put my senses to bed faster than a stone cold stunner. We went in as champions and left full happy and needing a nap :) This place is fantastic, don't pass it up.
We visited Mona twice during our short 5 days in Aguadilla and loved it! Super cute decor, lovely servers and delicious food, plus the fabulous fancy coffees! On our first visit, we had breakfast - the puerto rican style eggs benedict and the 'Benedict not Benedict' - both were delicious, large portions, and the eggs were perfectly poached and slathered with a generous amount of hollandaise. We also had a s'mores coffee, which was rimmed with toasted marshmallow, and a nutella coffee - the coffee itself was delicious and beautiful, and the add ons were so creative and decadent! On our second visit we wanted coffees but then decided to also have dessert, so we got the brownie with vanilla ice cream - (big enough for sharing!), and a couple fancy coffees - the macaron and the m&m. On both occasions our servers were lovely, service was quick and food quality was very good. A few extra notes - while you can definitely get your coffee to go, I definitely recommend sitting down to get the full experience! Also, there is some parking directly in front of Mona, and on busy weekends, they also offer paid valet parking; we parked across the street and braved the traffic, so that is also an option.
This place is the cutest cafe, it gives me Alice and wonderland vibes. The lattes were delicious, the amount of coffee and milk was perfect for my liking. The French toast was the best I have had, the bread was thick and not soggy at all. Fruit was very fresh as well. The servers were very friendly and came up to us to see if we needed anything. I think the only thing that would suck is parking on a busy day, but glad we went on a random Thursday morning. Love this place!
A GEM! The coffee was amazing. The staff were so friendly. The decor was whimsical and fun. For food I ordered myself a cafe con leche and the Benedict not Benedict. It was absolutely delicious. The bacalaitos here are a must try. They are fried thin and crispy yet soft in the center and packed with so much flavor we ended up ordering another one for the tabchilI was thrilled with the homemade juices so for my kids we ordered carrot orange juice and pumpkin pancakes. There is also free wifi and they have a beautiful selection of locally made artisan jewelry for purchase. I'll definitely be coming here again!
I stopped in for breakfast. The food was very good, the Customer service was excellent, and the ambiance was very cute. I highly recommend trying this spot when you're in Aguadilla, PR!

You can smell the heaven being cooked in the kitchen as soon as you enter! The staff overall were kind, friendly and welcoming! The valet is AFFORDABLE and RELIABLE! Even down to helping you exit the parking lot to depart. Once you enter, you step into one of the most innovative and chic interior designs ! Every wall, ceiling, table, light fixture and bar area is so neatly and beautifully decorated! The food was just as great as the decor! My omelette was so dang on good that I took my first bite and the flavor was so robust and lingered after consumption!!My family and I visited for Brunch as apart of our vacation "to dos" & everyone walked away full, happy and grateful. This is a must go when visiting Aguadilla! Be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater for seating as it is a bit chilly. Otherwise , I highly recommend! read more

This place was super good , would come back for the curly haired girl smoothie alone . The mufungo Benedict was a fun order , and perfect to split with two people . I enjoyed the decorative touch on the vanilla cookie latte , but the cookie pieces on the rim were definitely more for looks than eating ( stale ). The interior is very modern and cute - and definitely a clean establishment . There is a small parking lot , but could see it filling up at busy times - we were lucky to get a spot . Crash boat beach is a 5-8 minute car ride away too ! read more

Mona's cafe was so cute and right near our airbnb. The parking situation isn't great, but with a bit of patience you'll find a spot. The mimosas were so good. They had parcha, strawberry, mango and melon. They were so fresh and strong. Definitely a great way to spend Sunday brunch. The food was also so good. I ordered the breakfast tacos and the "taco shell" portion was a pancake and it was so good. With a little syrup they are a 5/5. I will definitely be back while I am here. The service was fast, the drinks were good, and the waitress was kind. Definitely stop here on your way to Crash Boat Beach! read more
Loved this spot! Their smoothies and cafe con leche were heavenly and the stuffed avocado dish was to die for - the guava jam and plantains were the perfect island touch. The best part - they were open on Christmas day for brunch when most restaurants were closed. They served some free chocolate cookies for Christmas and the staff wore holiday pajama outfits to make it extra festive. Staff is fluent in English. We took our pineapple coconut smoothie to go to drink on the beach and the basil in it was so good! read more
IN LOVE! Absolutely adore the decor at Mona. Make sure to bring your ID and vaccination card because they do check before seating. My party was sat down quickly and our waitress was so sweet and quick! We ordered our drinks. My friends enjoyed their Iced Coffees while I decided to have the Pineapple-Citrus Smoothie. It's the cutest drink! I honestly wasn't too crazy about the taste. It had a weird aftertaste to me. For our meal we ordered the Sweet Sampler, which came with 1 French Toast, 2 Pancakes, and a Waffle topped with fruits. All for $15.95! WOW. I'm really allergic to nuts so they easily accommodated and put the Nutella in its own cup for my friends. I also ordered a side of eggs for something savory. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS. My favorite was the french toast. So soft and the perfect bite. Make the effort to visit if you're in Aguadilla! You won't regret it. read more

Oh my yum! One of my favorite restaurants in Aguadilla. Valet parking is a godsend because they are usually pretty busy. We have been a few time and the longest we've waited was ten minutes. Today we were seated immediately. I ordered a bacon omelette with spinach and sautéed peppers added. I also got an iced coffee and added cinnamon and caramel. It was strong and amazing. My friend got a wrap and she loved it. My goddaughter had oatmeal with cinnamon. She said it was amazing. Truly love my visits to this restaurant. read more

This place had hands down the best breakfast/brunch I had on my visit to Puerto Rico. I was seated immediately and the wait staff was very attentive. I ordered the s'mores latte and the avocado express. It was phenomenal! The place itself is also decorated very chic and cute! Definitely stop by this place read more
If you get anything at all here, please make sure you get the curly girl smoothie. It was by far the best thing I have ever tasted! For my main meal I got the Virginia sandwich which was egg, meat, and cheese with French toast as the bread. It was pretty good but it tasted like a standard sandwich. Nothing too crazy. The breakfast potatoes are an extra charge (did not know that when ordering) and honestly were not worth it at all. read more
Beautiful hip coffee shop with a chic decor. This place had me thinking of the endless ideas of opening up a similar themed coffee shop back at home. They had endless options with their extensive coffee menu and also lots of creativity behind each one. Over all a great experience from the food, service and valet parking I can see why the reviews are never wrong read more

The food here is so delicious!! The rice and beans dish was phenomenal- the rice was perfectly flavored and the potatoes underneath were crispy and fresh. We also ordered the chicken bacon and plantain pizza which was awesome! It's the size of a personal pizza and the cheese had that perfect cheesy flavor. We finished with quesitos for desert- regular and guava- both were the best quesitos I've ever had! The place itself is super cute and perfect for cute photos and the service was super friendly and prompt. I love this place! read more

Parking is very limited. I'm not sure if there is any more in the back or not, but..just a heads up. The restaurant is super elegant and pretty. There is also a little "gift shop" right as you walk in with little trinkets you can purchase. We went around noon and it wasn't too busy, lots of seating. There were maybe 4 other tables seated at the time. We loved all of the food and drinks. I can't complain about any of the food that we received here. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. My only gripe was that as soon as we got our food, the service was almost non existent. I practically had to hunt the waitress down to get our check so we could pay and leave. The bathrooms were pretty average..didn't really meet the same visuals of the super cute and clean restaurant. Overall, GREAT restaurant, I would definitely go there again. I don't think there is anything that they serve that would not be delicious. read more
