For food, they have a main menu of all the typical Swabian biergarten foods and but there are also seasonal specials. Right now it's asparagus and strawberries in season, so they were featured prominently. I had a dish of asparagus with crepes and hollandaise, which was very memorable! The asparagus was cooked to this almost creamy consistency while still maintaining the brightness of fresh vegetables. The crepes were buttery and very good. I don't get why it was so expensive though - it was €22 which was more expensive than most of the meat dishes on the menu and it was just a normal-sized dinner. We were in a huge group that reserved the whole restaurant, and for the most part the staff sufficiently managed the big group. They are currently experiencing some conflict with the owners of the building, so the bar turned into a shop, but they are allowed to do small tastings. Cannot wait for them to find another location and show their full potential! I really enjoyed the tasting of the wheat beer from a small brewery in Bavaria with great notes of banana, wish I remembered the name. The cheese and meats plate was great, rustic and went nice with beer. Looking forward to coming back.

Great concept…read more Coming for a visit from the U.S., where craft beer is everywhere, I feel like they are pushing the envelope and are on the right track for a success in Stuttgart! The place has a very pleasant interior. Due to the conflict with the building owners and the neighbors, the Bar is closed and on the lookout for a new location. However, they still have a Bottle Shop with rare and craft beers, both local and import and they offer TASTINGS! The owners and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and can really advice well. They offer small tastings of the beers, so you can come and find out about what you actually always wanted to ask and never dared to :) I really liked the Tastings, you get to sip 100ml samples and then if you like the beer, you can get a bottle to enjoy at home! To help clean the palette, you can order a cheese&meats plate, which was a great snack! Thanks for bringing Craft Beer to the Public! Good luck on your search for a new location! The server at Krumme Brucke greeted us warmly and gave us menus. They have local beer on tap and I recommend it.
