Awesome place for Craft Beer lovers. These guys not only have a great selection of beers, but they also brew their microbrews in house! They are currently experiencing some conflict with the owners of the building, so the bar turned into a shop, but they are allowed to do small tastings. Cannot wait for them to find another location and show their full potential! I really enjoyed the tasting of the wheat beer from a small brewery in Bavaria with great notes of banana, wish I remembered the name. Craft Beer place like no other in Stuttgart! Great concept. Coming for a visit from the U.S., where craft beer is everywhere, I feel like they are pushing the envelope and are on the right track for a success in Stuttgart! The place has a very pleasant interior. Due to the conflict with the building owners and the neighbors, the Bar is closed and on the lookout for a new location. However, they still have a Bottle Shop with rare and craft beers, both local and import and they offer TASTINGS! The owners and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and can really advice well. They offer small tastings of the beers, so you can come and find out about what you actually always wanted to ask and never dared to :) I really liked the Tastings, you get to sip 100ml samples and then if you like the beer, you can get a bottle to enjoy at home! To help clean the palette, you can order a cheese&meats plate, which was a great snack! Thanks for bringing Craft Beer to the Public! Good luck on your search for a new location! Went here for an event on a Friday night and debating to giving them two stars. Really like the overall layout of the place, feeling like a brewery tasting room. I enjoyed their IPAs and lagers. One of the challenges was their bar didn't do a good job of crowd flow, so people who just got there would go to the bar from the other end leaving the folks on the line waiting even longer. What was even more frustrating was that they would hold up the line for one person's beer when they could have served others like myself. If I didn't tell them I would take another beer, I would have been stuck waiting. Place was really stuffy and no place to hang coats. I would go there again, but just not a busy night. read more
