We began seeing Dr. Aimee when our baby was almost 2 months old because she was favoring her right side of her head to sleep on and lay on in general. I initially booked a session bc I was experiencing ligament pain but it went away after our first session! I remained active and was able to have a natural birth with no interventions. I saw Dr. Haley after birth for some adjustments. I had lower back pain after having the baby but it quickly went away once I got my adjustments. A friend recommended Momma's Chiro after I told her my newborn was colicky, waking up when having bowel movements, and had a head tilt that was concerning me. His first appointment was at 5 weeks-old. It turned out he had torticolis (head tilting to one side), but you'd never know it looking at him now. We saw improvement right away and now at 4 months, my baby is more calm and cheerful, and no longer wakes up when having a bowel movement. I ended up getting treatment for myself postpartum as well, and I wish I would've known about this practice during my pregnancy. Dr. Hayley is the best! We originally went in for excess spit up and after a couple visits my sons spit up has declined both in amount and how often he spits up. Also, without even telling the Dr. she knew my son favored had favored his left side. My son would literally only look left during tummy time and sleep on his left side. I heard about Dr. Aimee and Momma's Chiro thru a friend. I was in my second trimester, about 22 weeks pregnant in February when I first came to see Dr. Aimee. I was having horrible lower back pain and was essentially getting stuck when I moved around. I was also having a lot of pubic bone pain and stress in my neck and shoulders. At our first meeting Dr. Aimee did a very thorough review of what I was feeling as well as what my goals were and then evaluated where I was physically. After my first adjustment I felt relief in my lower back. It obviously took more than one visit but my back and body in general felt better after each visit to the point that as my belly grew, I stopped feeling that constant pain in my sacram. Dr. Aimee gave me exercises to do at home that not only helped with the back pain but helped to strengthen my pelvis and prepare my body for giving birth. Found this location after a few other mamas recommended it to me, and after viewing their stellar reviews - I had to try it out! For background, I was 32 weeks pregnant when I found mommas chiro and had just found out my second baby was breeched. My first pregnancy was also a breeched baby, who Lord willing, has been healthy and well but resulted in a C-section delivery. This time around, I wanted to be more diligent on following through on a safe plan to encourage baby to turn head down for this pregnancy. I wanted to do everything I could to facilitate the baby turning without getting an ECV done in the hospital, nor did I want to experience a repeat a long bed ridden recovery post major abdominal surgery again, aka C-section, If I could help prevent it. I have now been going 2x a week, almost 3 weeeks now and while we are unclear if baby has turned head down yet, I have unexpectedly noticed an enormous difference in what were once "my normal and daily aches and pains from 3rd trimester pregnancy" and realized it was all chiro adjustments that were truly the fix.
