They did only what I approved and didn't push or over explain to get me to spend more. The price point was $1300 less than what other shops were quoting. Over the years, I have used auto aces multiple times for multiple cars. I needed a repair done, and called over a week in advance and spoke with Cheyenne. She said that my vehicle would be done for sure in one day so we made an appointment for the following week. So, I dropped my car off the night before to have to looked at right in the morning. I got a call at 8am that they looked at my car, and this is what it needed and would be done later in the day. I called back at 5:15pm, and the guy that answered the phone told me it wasn't ready yet. I asked him when he thought it would be ready, and he instantly got an attitude with me. I don't think my question was unreasonable nor did it get angry that it wasn't ready. He starts rattling off everything they did, and what they still needed to do. I'm not unintelligent when it comes to car repairs, and I know what they needed to do should have taken 4 hours tops. Why they had my car all day and then get mad when I ask a question was really weird. He then told me my car would be ready in the morning- even though I was told twice it would be done the same day, whatever I had the next day off anyway. Later in the evening Cheyenne calls me to tell me that my car is ready. So we went to pick it up, and at least it came in under budget. I always find her very pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. The guy however, was a world class asshole. Based upon that interaction alone, I won't bring my own car here anymore, but others in my household probably will. When you are shelling out a few grand for a repair, you kind of expect to at least get a phone call if they are running behind in the repair time. And they damn well better be nice when you call for an update!

Brian has always remembered my first name, and been nothing but honest. I had a dealer tell me i needed brakes all the way around, i took my car to Brian, and he checked it out for free, told me what percentage of pad i had left on each wheel. Turns out i could wait probably almost a year before i needed work. Another time i had the battery die in the car, and i took it in to have it checked out, and he said i needed a new battery. I asked about how much, and i was shocked how much batteries were, so i thought i would check around, and found out Brian was less expensive than Fleet Farm, Walmart, and Costco. Plus the install was done while i waited. He also looked at the vehicle all around, brakes, exhaust, and fluids and where a lot of places would charge for the inspection and fluids, all was done for no cost. Great guy

I just recently moved to GB and found these guys on Yelp…read more I've had an obnoxious squeaking in my car for a while now and I saved up a chunk of cash to get it fixed. About $1,000. I took it in to them to get it diagnosed and they told me it was my upper control arm and it would only be like a $250 fix. Fantastic. They then told me that my brakes were down to pretty much nothing and they would need to be replaced. This is something I could've done on my own for much cheaper but since I had the cash, I figured why not just have them do it, they were all very nice and it looks to be a relatively new business, so I told them go for it. With the brakes added on my bill was now $1,100. Over my budget, but again, no biggie they seem like good guys. When I picked it up and drove it home I noticed pretty much immediately that the squeaking wasn't even so much as muffled, it was not fixed at all. I'm not sure why they wouldn't test drive it after to make sure that the problem was fixed, especially because that's the whole reason I brought it in. Shortly after this my car starts beeping at me nonstop saying that my parking brake is on, and when I try to turn it off it says parking brake function is limited and to service immediately. Now, this could definitely just be a crazy coincidence, but the timing of them just replacing my brakes and then that happening is like I said, crazy. So I call them up and talked to the owner and he told me to bring it back in and they would make it right. They then told me that the parking brake wire got frayed somehow and they fixed that up free of charge. Great, thank you. But they then told me that the squeaking was actually the Lower control arm. This control arm is DOUBLE the price of the first one and that's at their cost. $513. If I knew this the first time I went in I would have just got that replaced and done the brakes myself. So instead of a 1-2 day $500 fix, I spent over $1600 and they had my car for about a week all together. When I picked it up I asked who I believe was the owner to take it for a drive to confirm there was no squeaking, and he said no problem. I planned on telling him that I was pretty upset and wanted him to work with me on the price considering it doesn't even seem like I needed the initial control arm they put in. I was gone for 5 minutes and when I came back the employee told me he had just left. So I'm pretty ticked off about that too. All in all, like I said everyone I spoke with was very friendly. Other than that I honestly feel completely ripped off by these guys.

We didn't think we could get that money right away, but figured it out. Called them back to start the repair, which was a timing chain. Told us we wouldn't get the vehicle back til next Tuesday, mind you it is the Friday before Christmas weekend. Called us back a while later and said they were working on it. This was at about 11am, and they close at 3pm. They got it done before 2pm. We had our vehicle before they closed. They also drove us home and back to the shop. The manager made this work and we are very appreciative of his and his crews effort. I highly recommend this shop for any repairs.

I arrived early to my appointment and was helped right away by Jonathan C (from my receipt) that after I explained my situation, inspected by flat, the space saver tire and showed me my options for replacing my tires. We chose the new tires, the time estimate was 1 hour and to come back at 12:30 and we went for lunch and the car was ready early and I needed new wipers and they called and asked if I would like them replaced and they did this for me. I asked if I need an appointment and was told no, they are taking walk ins. I said ok I will come in the afternoon. I arrived at 2:30 and was told that they were busy. I checked in and said that I would come back by 4 PM. I returned before 4 pm and my car was not done until nearly 6 pm. I am sure I was pushed back on the schedule several times. Terrible service. The free rotation is a joke. I will just do it myself from now on
