They've got amazing rustic furniture, that neat indestructible "poly" furniture for outdoors, cool crafts and they even brought in a new wine shop they call The Spirited Raven where they sell a whole bunch of wines from around the Finger Lakes region where their shop is located. I even had a great backup plan. I emailed my mom, sister and fiance to proofread it. We all THOUGHT everything was fine. This is the actual email I sent to her with a last minute request. I even put the date in BOLD. Hi, I need to add the 4.25.09 under the names on the monogram I will send the proof contract today. Thanks SHE PUT THE WRONG DATE, she put the 29th that's a WEDNESDAY I trusted her to add this one little change. I assumed it would be correct. Well ASS out of U and ME. I had to work through the night cutting strips of paper to cover the wrong date.To top it off she not only put the wrong date, but she typed it in a basic Times Font in black ink. So not only it has the wrong font and the wrong ink color, but the whole thing is not even centered in the middle of the paper. So they already looked totally DIY and I barley like them, and we have no time to turn back and get more. Do not do business with this company. I have been on the waiting list since May 7th with a start…read moredate of July 9th and I have still not received anything from them.. Their contract states 3-5 days to receive your concepts/proofs. Heather told me she would have them to me and promised 2 different dates. They needed more time so I understood and gave them more time and I didn't mind so I would wait until the next date they promised and they would make up another excuse, then they just started ignoring me to avoid the situation. I still have not seen anything. So I started getting frustrated and asked for my $165 deposit back and told them I wanted to cancel b/c it wasn't working out and they were not fulfilling their end of the agreement and they said, "wish you the best of luck but your not getting your deposit back." Then they directed me to their terms and conditions. It does say that you do not receive your deposit back if you cancel but if you want to cancel b/c you are not getting what you paid for then they should give you the deposit back. I told them I didn't want to cancel if I was not going to receive my money back and she told me that I cancelled in an email on Sunday and if I wanted back on the waiting list then I would have to be moved to the end of the waiting list. I have waited 3 months, I am not going to wait any longer with this company especially if they can't give me an accurate date on when I will receive my concepts and who knows how long it would take them to do the blog design. They made tons of excuses why they didn't have it, their systems were down one day so it put them a day behind, then their email went down last Friday and that is reason why I didn't receive anything. It is all a bunch of lies because they don't want to admit that they haven't even looked at my emails and starting designing anything because if they did, they would have cared that I was trying to cancel b/c they spent time on my design. They do not return calls and they screen calls. I called them 8 times on Monday during their calling hours b/c I wanted to talk to someone in person. I left one message. I never received a call back. So on Tuesday I started calling again and no answer. So I walked over to the neighbors house because I felt like they were screening my calls and they answered the phone. I tried to get a date when I could see some concepts and she just kept saying that I cancelled on Sunday so she can't help me and I would have to wait a week for Heather to get back in town from a convention/training. I asked her to have Heather call me from her cell phone and she said no. So I told her I would contact the BBB and she told me she was terminating me from their services and she hung up on me.

But you'll find a bit of everything else, including ... ** Lots of fabrics, notions, and sewing supplies; bolts of fabric are cut-to-size for whatever length you need ** Cards, stationary, and a small assortment of books (mostly religious) ** Decorative glassware and knick-knacks ** General kitchen items (cookware, utensils, canning supplies) ** Grill and picnic supplies ** A few small electrics, like fans and light strings ** Small clothing section with mostly knits, sweats, and Amish hats ** Candles and candle holders ** Many natural soaps, lotions, and supplements ** Cleaning supplies and household paper products ** Garden and outdoor supplies, and some tools ** Toys and games ** Office supplies ... but definitely not limited to just that, you'll surely find more. Prices are very fair. I needed a couple basic plastic mixing bowls, and grabbed them here for $1.10 a piece. I also got some fly catcher strips for 5/$1, and a fork/whisk hybrid called a Fiskie for about three bucks. I'm eyeing a nice Chinese Checkers metal tin set, that was about $11. Next time, it will be mine! Attached to this same building is Lake Breeze Bicycle, a small bicycle shop in the basement of the general store, with its own separate entrance out back. I'll write a review for that portion of the business separately, but as a sneak-peek, it's a handy, well-priced store too. During COVID times, all other customers were masked and doing our best to stay distanced in the small store. The Amish women I've seen working at the register and fabric cutting area have been masked, too. It appreciate, even way out here in the sticks, folks still doing their part to help end this pandemic. If you find yourself in this part of Orleans county, and either want to browse for nothing in particular, or look for something in particular, chances are you may find it here at J C Miller General Store. And it will likely be a good deal!
