DO NOT BRING LITTLE CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL. THEY ENABLE abuse of small children and the owner defends the teacher who teacher the toddler classes. I emailed her after calling her and she made excuses for her employee instead of making things right.
Thursday Feb. 15th during the 5:15 ballet and jazz class for 3-5 year olds, the instructor Emily lost her temper, raised her voice at the class and yelled at them to be quiet and not to talk. Then a few minutes later, she yelled at my daughter, and yelled, "I told you to be quiet!" My daughter is three years old. She is there for fun, and exercise, and to learn. I am still very, very angry with Emily for yelling at my daughter, and my mother was present during this as well and I pulled my daughter out of class early last week because both her and I were so upset. Everyone loses their patience and temper sometimes. But when you are teaching toddlers you are not entitled to lose your temper or patience and you are not allowed to yell at other people's little children. It is never ok. That is called child abuse. I dont care what her reasoning is or was, or what state of mind she was in, she was wrong and I wont bring my child there again.
Regardless of why she yelled, why she got upset, or any excuse she tries to make, she has NO excuse, and NO right to yell at my child. She was wrong, and she cannot make it right. As I stated above, I will not be bringing my daughter back there again to chance her being abused and mistreated again. I asked for my moneu back and she refused and instead of addressing my concerns as a parent who refrained from interrupting the class to yell at the teacher who verbally assaulted my 3 yr old, she defended her and refused to give me my money back.
As a fellow business owner and manager, when a client or customer comes to you with an issue with one of your employees, you don't tell them, "oh I've never heard anything like that about her," or "let me talk to Emily and the other parents and get back to you." The responsible and correct answer is always, "I'm so sorry that happened, let me assure you nothing like this will ever happen again," or "I'm so sorry this happened, I am going to talk to her right now and get right back to you." Otherwise you are only making excuses for her wrongdoings and enabling her abuse of small children. Then, Michelle tippits the owner had the gall to write, "I'm sorry you're not happy." You're right I'm not happy, you allow for small children to be abused by your instructors, allow them to lie and defend them after i watched and heard your employee yell at my 3 yr old. Oh and by the way, I contacted cps. good luck with that! read more
