After another week, they still had not reached out. Talked to the manager who said the installer would be in contact either same day or next day. 1 week later, the installer contacted me to make an appointment 6 days out. The installer was prompt and communicative. He said I would have a bid early the following week. After 1-1/2 more weeks, I called the store and asked for the manager who I was told was out. The service could not be worse. You are left hanging on next steps. At this point, they can keep my $50, and I am going elsewhere. Horrible customer service!

Lumber Liquidators has VERY LITTLE flooring materials in stock. If Lumber Liquidators can't guarantee a delivery date, or if they continue with subtle suggestions to switch to another cheaper quality product and they claim "we can most likely get this in a couple weeks" when the product you wanted is much higher quality, and currently on sale...that should be a huge red flag. Consider the following: I asked the salesman for an installation price. He told me $3.69 per square foot which I thought is a good deal since other local contractors had quoted me $4.00 per square foot. So I paid a $25 estimate fee which I normally don't do because honestly...that should be part of any contractors cost of doing business. Sure, it's refundable if you use that contractor...win win for them. Lumber Liquidators does install for 3.69 per square foot. But they add in all kinds of EXTRA FLUFF in their itemized estimate that any other contractor would simply include in their bottom line. For a wood floor this included: 1. saw blade 37.99 2. floor care maintenance kit 34.99 3. seam tape 41.93 4. self leveling cement 29.99 5. Adhesive 77.87 5. L-cleats) 94.95 I guess, According to Lumber Liquidators, after paying the $25 estimate fee, you also need to start buying tools for their contractors such as a 10-inch Dewalt Combo Pack saw blade listed on my estimate. LOL When adding in all these extras, the install price was $4.00 per square foot, just like everyone else in town. Don't forget delivery. Lumber Liquidators will deliver. In my case it would have been $375 for 2 pick-up loads of flooring. This is just another nickle and dime strategy to make up for the so-called "low prices." If you install yourself. If Lumber Liquidators has what you want in stock or promise a date it will arrive. If you have a big truck or trailer. If no other wholesaler or even Jerrys has a better price...by all means buy from Lumber Liquidators.

The bathroom had the most awful, early 80's, peach colored shower enclosure, I could not live with - and the counter was much too short. The backyard had a large lawn and a small deck - it was crying out for a more useful space for entertaining. My street generates a lot of traffic noise and I needed something to help reduce it. I also wanted an attractive trash/recycling bin deck, close to the street, for convenience. I looked for reviews and Emerald Valley Home Repair popped up. I like licenses and BBB ratings - Ted has them. He was professional in his walk through and intelligent, creative and confident with his advice and ideas - that he quickly put me to ease with his clear rapport I chose Ted Colee. My new larger kitchen space includes my necessary dishwasher and a couple new cabinets and sparkles with quartz counter tops throughout. He also replaced the lighting. The bathroom shower panels were removed and replaced with new bright white tiles. The deck steps down to a circular stone patio that allows for more entertaining and several large potted plants. I worked with Ted on ideas for the front driveway and we came up with a spectacular walled in - shingled and planter deck. It looks fantastic and provides more privacy in my front yard and most importantly, has reduced the road noise. The shingled trash/recycling/green-waste bin deck has a drop down ramp gate: So convenient! This was a series of jobs that effectively have turned this house into my home. Knowledge, skill, dependability, trust and respect are all vital in building that working relationship and creativity and flexibility complete the package. **UPDATE** I called…read moreTerrence and his crew back to replace a large part of my very old sewer line in my back yard that hadn't been touched since it was built in the 1950s. They did a great job, were finished in just a few hours, and I have a new sewer line working great for less than half of the other quotes I got. Fantastic company and a fantastic crew! **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Terrence and Jacob showed up at 4:30 p.m. to clear my sewer line. They both worked hard in the heat for 2 hours to clear large patch of very stubborn sludge in the line, then refused to charge me because they weren't able to clear the line as promised. They are coming back tomorrow morning with the large hydrojetter to finish the job and charge me once the line is cleared. They were both honest, very nice, communicated clearly, and have been a pleasure to work with. I personally really appreciate this kind of honesty and I reward it whenever I can. I'm going to hire them to fix that belly in my sewer line which is a much larger job with a much higher price tag than what I originally called them for. Terrence's bid was substantially lower than the other two bids I got for the same work.
