The old signs and plastic fly strips don't sell the place but once eaten a cake from here you'll never go anywhere else in the local area. The staff are very funny and friendly and they know you'll be back. It is opposite Cameron Park, a great running area for the little ones and the mutt. Love their baguettes, way better than Bourke Streets Bakery, as it's crispy on the outside while soft and slightly salty on the inside. The owner/baker is originally from France and makes beautiful pastries. I usually get the Flourless Chocolate Cake and Creme Brûlée. Excellent coffees and iced chocolates as well. Service is fast and friendly. It's best to enjoy everything in the front patio seating, while watching the locals go about their day. The only downsides are that it's so far from Sydney and they are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
