His shop came recommended by several friends in the area and so I called last week to make an appointment to have the air conditioner serviced, along with an annual inspection. In the meantime my brakes decided to start grinding so when I brought my car in there were additional items that needed to be looked at. He was great to work with, he helped me to understand my options particularly given my car's advanced age, and his prices were very competitive. I'm so glad I can have full confidence in my car again!

First and last time I'll be taking my vehicle here or recommending anyone to have their vehicle serviced here. Jeff passed my vehicle for emissions but failed me for the State Inspection. Didn't charge me for the Inspection (hence the two stars). The reason for the failure was that the speed rating for one of the tires didn't match the other three and below the rating that the vehicle called for. I called the shop where the replacement tire came from and they couldn't find anything in the PA State Inspection manual that would warrant a failure of inspection due to a tires speed rating. I double checked it myself and couldn't find what Jeff was referring to and Jeff didn't produce it either. Jeff didn't offer to replace the tire in question, just offered for me to go to another shop that would pass me. Failing for personal reasons and not according to the PA Inspection code isn't ethical. The other shop was willing to pass me where the 4th tire was purchased, just a hassle to have to go through all of this.

I've been dealing with Dale at European Precision in Emmaus since he brought to life a 1995 Volvo…read morestation wagon that 6 different repair shops told me that it was too far gone to fix and that they would give me a couple of bucks and use it for parts. This car was like a member of the family, but we were ready to junk it until someone suggested that Dale could resurrect it. He couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't be able to look at it for a couple of weeks but since it wasn't inspected and barley drivable anyway I dropped off the Volvo. I called him occasionally to check on his progress and he said that he tinkers with it from time to time and that he is sure that he can get it running. After several months he called me and told me I could pick it up! I can't remember what it cost but but it was worth every penny and we got another 10 years out of it. Fast forward and my son lives in the Rockaways in NYC and has a 20 year old Prius that was close to death because the very reliable shop he had been taking it to gave up trying to repair. I scheduled an oil change at E-Motive Performance and Auto Repair after extensive searching and praying to God for a mechanic I could take my car to regularly. I had to change my original appointment with short notice due to the weather earlier this week and today I was like an hour late to my appointment because of poor time management on my part. When I walked into the shop, I was welcomed so kindly by Esten, who introduced himself and his partner to me. He listened to all the concerns I had about my car, then waited patiently for me to get myself together and figure out how I would wait for the work to be done. Rather than send me to the back of the line, they worked on my car right away they explained so much to me about cars when it was clear I didn't know much, Esten even called my dealership to check to see if I still had a warranty on any of my parts! He went above and beyond for me even without knowing me. He told me everything I needed once they checked my car out, gave me a list of prices including the labor charges, gave me a timeframe of when I should be replacing things and I was just literally blown away by their ability to relieve all of my concerns and give me an affordable game plan moving forward. As a woman, this type of professionalism is invaluable to me! It's just a small shop in the middle of nowhere and I got the best service I have ever had in comparison.
