The flooring company was okay, but the installer was a nightmare that ruined my brand new construction home. The floors ended up buckling after 3 weeks, glue everywhere, holes in walls. I went through any resource I could find online and had about 5 installers out to my house to see what could be done about my buckling floors and that is how I found TJ. He took the old flooring out and did what he promised. I decided to have him put in the new flooring after much debate as he works by himself and it was about 2000 sq ft of flooring he had to put in. He did the job as promised and the floors look great. Anyone out there that wants to use advertisements or referral services think twice as I learned the hard way. Being new to the area I did not know where to start looking for an installer but I always go online and do my own research and I should have done so after moving to Charlotte. TJ is like finding gold...not only does he install floors but is a jack of all trades in the general contractor area. After installation was complete he returned to inspect everything and went above and beyond to ensure our home was clean and in order to our satisfaction. David and his helper did a great job installing our carpet. They were very careful carrying long and heavy rolls of carpet through our home and upstairs (which included a very tight turn) without making a single mark on our newly painted walls. Our master closet had many contours along the bottom of our custom shelving units and and they tucked and fastened the carpet seamlessly. At the end of a long day they took the time to throughly vacuum all of the carpet AND cleaned up every little "fuzzy" off of our driveway (where they rough-cut the carpet prior to installation). We have been so delighted with our experience that we've decided to have Neo Flooring provide and install additional runners and an area rug to cover parts of our hardwood floors. We hired him two months ago to do a variety of things to our 100-yr old home in Cow Hollow: -rebuild front steps & entryway, including installing a new front door -install crown moulding on our main floor -rebuild deck in backyard -repair and replace dry rot at various locations on exterior of the house -a variety of smaller projects throughout the house As you can tell, it was a variety of interior/exterior projects, and Rich absolutely hit it out of the park. In the three years that we've owned our home, I'd been through more than 5 contractors before we found Rich. I can't recommend him highly enough. Let me tell you specifically why: 1. Attention to detail & quality of work -The finish work that Rich does is as good as I've ever seen. Every night we would come home and there would be no evidence that Rich had been there that day - no dust, no specks of paint, no tools left behind. Just the evidence of progress made on the job. Awesome. 2. Trustworthiness -We left Rich with a key to our house, not only while we were gone at work every day, but while we were away in Europe for two weeks 3. Guarantees -One of the boards that Rich installed on our front steps began to warp days after being installed. Not at all a problem with Rich's work, but a faulty piece of lumber. Regardless, Rich tore up the board and replaced it the next day, all at no additional cost and with no questions asked. 4. Customer-oriented & professional -All of Rich's quotes were sent to me as PDF's in email and clearly outlined in detail the proposed work. Following the job, he sent me an invoice. All very professional and customer-oriented. 5. Price -We sought out three bids for the work that we wanted done, and Rich was very competitively priced. Incredible value for money. In short, we can't say enough good things about him. We'd highly recommend him for home remodel / improvement projects.
