We are so appreciative that one of our neighbours told us about their experience with Patchboyz. Their team arrived at 8:30 am. When we returned from work at dinner time, I was shocked that the badly damaged wall was fixed perfectly. They matched the paint so well, that we couldn't even find where the massive hole was . My wife was so impressed, she asked PB return and remove the popcorn ceiling in our living room and dining room. WOW!! That simple decision literally brightened up and modernized the entertainment area of our 50 yr. old home. Thank you Patchboyz, for making out experience with you simple, enjoyable and stress free. I was quoted 1350 for the work. The contractor came and took 4 hours to remove the drywall (it should have taken no more than an hour)...then he said they would be finishing the work with someone else. He was cleaning up and I was waiting for him to let me know the next steps....HE HAD ALREADY LEFT. I wait a couple days, giving them time to follow up and let me know when they will finish the work. Instead they send me an email asking for the bill to be paid. I tell them the work was not done. They give me some bullshit about mould removal....there was no mould. They left the debris behind for me to dispose of. They left a giant hole in my ceiling, then they had the nerve to ask me if I would like a quote to fix the hole. To be clear, I paid $325 an hour for them to remove 6x6 feet of drywall. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

The workers who came were also excellent and when they left the house was so clean you could not even tell they had been there. We bought a multi-unit building in 2016 and have steadily improved it. One of the first things I looked into was insulation. The building is old. The new unit we added immediately made the basement the warmest and most temperate floor. We weren't going to do a full reno on the ground floor so we decided to do "drill & fill" with cellulose for sound deadening. They were excellent. We did have a miscommunication about one cavity that was accidentally filled but this was professionally rectified. Just last year it was time to do the attic. We thought about saving money and doing it ourselves. Just before renting the equipment and sourcing the insulation at Home Depot I have them a call for a quote. It was off-season but the quote blew me away. Like with our previous renos, their pricing was extremely aggressive and I said yes right away. The man (Reggie, if I remember correctly) and woman who showed up to do the blown-in cellulose were great. Total pros who even spotted a few issues in the attic and addressed them on the spot! One was that a previous contractor installed an incorrect venting tube and replaced it. These guys are total pros. I'm a landlord and also have family who are real estate investors. We all agree that the OReilly Brothers are like a well-oiled machine. Other companies, from our experience, don't have the systems in place to do the quality work for such fair pricing. Absolutely terrible company to deal with…read more Our insurance company sent them when our tree fell on our fence. The project Manager Andrew Beaulac is clearly very inexperienced unable to communicate professionally. He quoted our fence replacement and we had questioned how low the quote was compared to the other quotes we received privately. He assured us that the quote included everything and nothing was missed. Now almost two months after we've agreed to go with them, they've collected our deposit and no work has been done and they kept telling us an end of august/September start date. We then started to get 3rd party fencing companies randomly calling or showing up to our house saying First Onsite sent them. Nothing ever materialized from these other contractors. We then receive an update quote from them that is almost 2000$ more than the original quote due to our neighbor's patio and stairs being in such close proximity to the fence. We discuss them completing the work and if the neighbor's property gets damaged during the fence replacement, they need to make sure it gets repaired. Which seemed to be reasonable. At this point they reply and say they are no longer able to do the work and back out. Now they've had our deposit for 6 plus weeks and keep telling us it's "in the mail" after delaying processing our reimbursement for over a week. The "national account manager" Rachel Weagant has been dismissive and clearly doesn't care about the situation. Our insurance is appalled with how the situation has been handled and me and my wife are exhausted dealing with this company. So now, the end of summer, back to square one. We're missing 2000$. We don't have a safe yard for our kids or our dog and we need to find an alternative fencing company. Give us our money back!

I don't normally write reviews. Clicking on 1 to 5 stars can be mindless and vary with the mood…read moreone happens to be in at a moment in time regardless of the impact it might have on the business. This review is different, it is written three days after H&W finished two weeks of work at our house after thought and reflection. In August the basement of our bungalow was filled with 4 feet of sewage, we lost 70% of our possessions. We threw all of our memories into a dumpster in our driveway and was informed that our house had asbestos forcing us to move out of it with three children in tow. We did not expect encouragement in these tough times to come in the form of a husband and wife abatement team but that is what happened. Chris and Sylvie came to our house and demonstrated professional excellence in every possible way. They explained the scope of the work and what they were doing at every step. They were fastidious about cleanliness and meticulous in their methods to ensure that our house would be fully abated without incidental asbestos contamination, working 13 days straight through a long weekend to get us back in our home as quickly as possible. They were considerate of our salvageable belongings, moving items with care and when we did move back home they timed the remainder of their operations in consideration of our family's schedule. Their abatement efforts uncovered underlying mold issues which they took the initiative to remediate in consultation with our insurance company. They cleaned every surface by hand when they were done. Chris told me early on we could eat off the floor when they were done, I think he was right. You might think every abatement company operates like this but after talking to multiple neighbours also undergoing abatement operations from the same flood I've come to realize how deeply fortunate we were to have H&W. Friends up the road suffered fractured plumbing or panes of glass from careless abatement, one couple had the abatement go so poorly their entire house was contaminated with asbestos dust (incidentally H&W got called in to fix that mess). Chris and Sylvie are H&W, they put their hearts into every job because it's their company, their reputation, and their passion to do restore worksites to a high standard of cleanliness while adhering to the highest of safety standards. I don't offer a 5-star rating here on a whim, H&W deserve all five.
