This is no longer Mojos Coffee Bar nor is it Reverie Roasters. Bethel College food service now runs this coffee bar/cafe and it's new name is 1887 Cafe. They make drinks that are familiar to fans of Starbucks but they are not a franchisee. The food served at 1887 Café is made by the Bethel College food service, which is run by Aladdin if I'm not mistaken. They do serve different items that can be eaten with coffee for breakfast as well as salads and sandwiches that can be eaten for lunch. I love Mojos! Great coffee, great location, great staff. Really quality coffee, craft drinks, good specials. They're bakery case is great, I do miss the biscuits and gravy, but their current offerings are very good with a selection of morning buns, breakfast burritos, muffins and such. They're currently managed by Reverie Roasters out of Wichita so the menu shook up a little bit but the coffee is still great, just a few of the menu items have changed or been replaced. Finally got the chance to drop by at Mojo's and had no regrets doing so. My wife had breakfast burrito and chai latte. - Both were perfect for the overcast weather. I didn't think it was anything special and the service was pretty slow but I have to give them a break for their inexperience. This is a review of Mojos in Newton Medical Center, which is a branch of the main store on the campus of Bethel College. The service can be slow at times. This is due to being under staffed. However, there are a lot of times when two employees would make it over staffed. If you go in and there is a line of more than 4 people you might consider going somewhere else because you are looking at a long wait. The coffee is typical of any other coffee place. As a coffee shop frequenter, Mojo's has always been the one to beat. The staff is super friendly, the food menu is always changing it up with seasonal options while keeping true to their dependable and delicious best sellers, and the coffee and espresso is always well made on top-of-the-line machines and tastes great. The staff goes out of their way to inform coffee newbies on what's what, but they also offer just about anything a coffee snob would need. The space is amazing for a study session, hang out spot with friends, professional meeting, or relaxing afternoon alone. Above all, the owner cares about her business, her workers, and the customers. She knows what's best for the shop but will always sit down with a customer and discuss possible changes to make things better. Mojos has a great atmosphere, with an interesting mix of students and older folks. The coffee is okay, but it's not clear if they have oat/almond milk. And they often serve coffee in to-go containers for people drinking in-house, which is pretty wasteful (and probably more costly for them). read more
