They go above and beyond to make both pets (and pet parents) comfortable. While a flower delivery and sympathy card weren't on our mind from the vet, that's just a single example of the thought that is behind everything they do. They truly are a class act and perfect example of compassionate service in Orlando. I send all of my friends here when they're in the market for a new vet. Not only are the doctors kind and thorough, but the techs and front desk staff are what really make the difference. They get to know you and your pet and are always rooting for your furry companions. I fully believe they are a large reason why my girls have lived so long - they do routine bloodwork and have caught so many underlying issues throughout the last 6 years between the 2 of our girls (high blood pressure, hyperthyroid, all the things you don't think of for a cat). We've shed a lot of tears in Garden Vet recently, and I want to thank the whole team for taking such good care of Darla and us. Grief is not linear, and can be absolutely overwhelming. They did not care for the well-being of my animal who was in pain as much as I thought that they should and it's just not a place that's meant for me.

She said she "didn't know the name of the doctor" (who never introduced himself to us) because "it's really long" - and she is, for the record, his manager. I cannot believe that that was offered as a defense of this random vet who, again, never gave us his name before telling us he'd probably put down our dog if it was his. UPDATE 2: our old vet, Dr. Basso, who used to work here, is now at Maitland Animal Hospital, go there! MUCH better staff and, most importantly, our dog is fine and happy again! ORIGINAL: Been going her for years, but today was traumatic. Some random Vet I had never seen before came in, he never gave us his name and didn't make any effort to familiarize himself with our dog. He skipped a thorough exam on our dog (barely checked his vitals, just touched his neck a bit and sort of pushed him around) and told us, after reviewing his most recent bloodwork in front of us, but not his history, that he would probably put him down if it was his dog. I went to the front desk to ask for an appointment with our normal vet, and the rude girl at the counter said our vet left and she couldn't tell me where she went. This place used to be good but they have driven off or replaced everyone who made it great. They don't care about your pets, staff is rude, and they cycle through too many vets for you to trust your pets to them.
