The driver stacked them so I could easily move them manually to block them up, and I was easily able to split all 20 cord with a 7lb maul with almost no stubborn pieces. I ordered 5 face cords and paid a premium for seasoned wood. Unfortunately I failed to look at it closely before the delivery man dumped it. As I moved it to my woodshed I couldn't believe the low quality of the supposedly seasoned firewood. The logs were sodden, many had areas of rot as well as moss growing on them. Not only that, but I was about 11/2 face cords short. I keep my firewood stacked in a dedicated shed. I know exactly how long it is and I have 1 foot increments marked on a vertical post so it's easy to know how much wood I have. I called several times to complain and seek some resolution. The owners mother answered the phone and told me her son would call back but he never did. I've since found another supplier and the difference is the wood the last two years has been remarkable. I wish I had switched earlier.
