I ordered from Mogul and received one of the worst tikka masalas I have ever tasted, but my husbands food was nice (veggie) so my main complaint is not with the food. No, my complaint is with the service.
I had a glove finger in my aloo paratha and so it was un-edible. I called Mogul to let them know about this and they said they would be right over with a replacement one. We waited about 2 hours and they never came. I then emailed them on the 21st and did not receive a reply so I wrote a pretty scathing review on JustEat where I placed the order through. After I wrote the review I received an email from the manager of the restaurant offering me a refund. This was very generous and thankfully he gave me the option of having the refund in cheque form rather than credit, as after what happens next I would never go near the place.
So today, I received an email from that same manager who had been so gracious before, in a rather threatening tone... See below...
Hi Heather
I recently came across your review on just eat. I was disappointed to see that despite reimbursing you for the cost of the meal, you have gone on to tell lies about the customer service that you received following your complaint, stating that you had no reply to your email or refund.
You have been fully reimbursed, please do the decent thing and see fit to update your review accordingly. Thank you
Regards

For the record, no lies were told, only the timing was slightly off. I can't amend the review on JustEat even if I wanted to, and even if I could, it would still be bad because, hello, THERE WAS A GLOVE IN MY PARATHA.
Just don't bother with this place. read more
