They didn't send us keys, then sent the wrong ones, so we had to call a locksmith. The vent was installed wrong, and we waited weeks for a contractor to fix it. Then, right before winter, the furnace was installed incorrectly. I wrote them a letter, I can't believe how careless they were! Still no call about the cabinets or anything. Seriously, don't buy from them. Pictures posted In response to sending multiple cabinets doors you sent one shown in picture which is the same. You sent stain for me to fix, your issue. We had to address the furnace ourself right away because we needed heat so our pipes wouldn't freeze, because you have told us in our area you don't have a contractor to work on these issues. When it came to the ac it took over a month got a contractor to come out to address the installed wrong venting. Again as mention in letter to District Manager how I feel about the way this park model was put together is so disheartening. Here is a sample Good morning, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience of receiving our park model. 1st I still haven't received any update regarding the soffit that was hit and the shingles that was lifted up during the delivery. I just don't want a leaky roof. 2. The keys were delivered in an envelope that was sent via standard mail, rather than overnight delivery, which resulted in a delay in receiving the correct keys. This caused inconvenience and security concerns, as I was unable to lock my premises due to the incorrect keys provided. Despite multiple attempts to rectify the situation, there was a lack of urgency in sending the correct keys. However, I appreciate the approval to call a locksmith to resolve the issue, and the refund for the incorrect keys.(which how do we receive the refund for this?) 3. I noticed that the cabinet on the right side of the picture, particularly the bottom one, is missing a handle and lacks color. Additionally, I find the overall appearance of that side of the kitchen to be disjointed and visually unappealing. I have reviewed other models with a similar style cabinet and I must admit that mine differs in terms of color accuracy. 4. The coat rack's design, with the placement of the hooks, raises concerns about its installation quality. To ensure a professional appearance, I would recommended to space the jackets evenly to avoid the impression of poor craftsmanship, especially considering the vent cover is already off-center. 5. The Ac butterfly damper installed wrong. This is unbelievable. 6. There are several unfilled nail holes and missing screw covers. I would also like my wall color putty so I can fix. I understand that new builds often have minor issues that need to be addressed, but I believe that the construction of my tiny getaway house lacked attention to detail and care. Recently, my 17-year-old son began working in the concrete industry. When he started last year at the age of 16, we emphasized the importance of treating each job as if it were his own home. We encouraged him to take pride in his work and ensure that the finished product would be something he would be proud of.I believe this house lacks a sense of pride and appears to have been hastily constructed. At this time again it was Aug no need for the new furnace to be on.. That is why it's not listed.

As of todays date, 1/3/2024 they have still not been resolved. While waiting for them to fix these issues, we reported an HVAC malfunction when using it for the first time in Nov 2023. As of today's date, 1/3/2024, the HVAC is still not working. Only 1/2 of the house is getting heat, and my grandson's bedroom is an ice box. It's the middle of winter in Ohio, and we still do not have a functioning HVAC system. We have sent many emails, along w/direct messages without resolution. The same tech who was out before and was unable to fix it is coming back on 1/9/2024. Apparently a working HVAC system is low priority for this company. I would not recommend them.

They really cheaped out when they installed/contracted this roof. Leaked within 7 years; have to replace shingles after 17 years. Other gripes include : -The lot was poorly graded which has led to some water damage. -The dryer vent outlet exited to the garage!?! If you can find your car in the winter due to the fog, you had to wipe the dryer lint off your windshield -Lots of air gaps between the house and foundation If you plan on staying in your house longer than 5 years, you should find someone else to build it.

My experience was horrendous. I had to sue the contractor over how poorly my house was installed and hh was entirely unhelpful. My build ran over the estimated move in date by almost an entire year. And they were unable to complete my initial move in checklist, after my year warranty was up I just gave up. My foundation was the wrong size and my house was hanging off into free air. My cabinets are falling apart and they were the upgraded option. My house was missing code required light fixtures and I had to argue to have them installed. The customer service manager of hh was so shady when I explained I needed to start recording the calls to be used in my court case he refused to talk to me. They removed a window from my print without a change order and refused to replace it. My tub was installed with a crack, and the replacement that was included in the lawsuit was dragged and had scratches. Had I been the one there I would have refused it but my husband was so sick of the 2 year long battle that he just signed to be done with it. They don't side with customers when their certified dealers go out of business before a contract is completed. I wish I could return my house and start over.

I notice no one stating what home they bought? Hmm one review written by a relative of the owner? Hmm. Another caulking drywall? No insulation in Windows? The Winner was Commodore though as they had a dealer that wanted to work! Clayton homes, you have to knock on the office door to see if anyone is working! The floors were noticeably cracked and they found cuts that were so bad, they needed to be replace the floor. There were cracking issues where the wall meets the ceiling and back flashes started to come away from the wall. Unable to warm up the house the first winter, they discovered that there was no insulation in the doors, in any of the windows nor the sliding glass door. I was shaken up to see that a home builder could be so negligible at a job they should have been good at. I would think twice before hiring this contractor.
