I previously had only briefly talked to him... he seemed friendly and knowledgeable but TODAY I discovered he is not only a financially minded guru. But he is ALSO A MASTERFUL Salesman/ Customer Service Man... a Man of integrity and you could just have a gut feeling that he cares more about people than profit or product... a rare thing in today's world... I was treated like I was his ONLY customer in the world... and I know I am not... Modway is growing and has never had more pending home projects... Adam Cobane, Owner/ GM and true "Home Hero" Scholar AND Gentleman HAS groomed Nick to be outstanding in his field and has made Modway into the trifecta- Great Home-Land Packages, Great Service and Great Price - Always Affordable ! Wow! I sooo look forward to closing and seeing more of Adam & team as the taket on this Construction Project Management ... and feel free to email me any questions you ever have about Mods, Adam's team, free recipes for success, etc. Aaron Haste TVsingingCHEFaaronHASTE@GMAIL.com

I am the second owner of this Heckaman built house…read more "The ten year guarantee doesn't cover the roof." That's what I was told when my roof started leaking around a vent stack. They really cheaped out when they installed/contracted this roof. Leaked within 7 years; have to replace shingles after 17 years. Other gripes include : -The lot was poorly graded which has led to some water damage. -The dryer vent outlet exited to the garage!?! If you can find your car in the winter due to the fog, you had to wipe the dryer lint off your windshield -Lots of air gaps between the house and foundation If you plan on staying in your house longer than 5 years, you should find someone else to build it.

This was the most expensive mistake of my life. We had our dream property and decided to go with…read moreheckaman as they built my in-laws house and they did a great job, 20 years ago. My experience was horrendous. I had to sue the contractor over how poorly my house was installed and hh was entirely unhelpful. My build ran over the estimated move in date by almost an entire year. And they were unable to complete my initial move in checklist, after my year warranty was up I just gave up. My foundation was the wrong size and my house was hanging off into free air. My cabinets are falling apart and they were the upgraded option. My house was missing code required light fixtures and I had to argue to have them installed. The customer service manager of hh was so shady when I explained I needed to start recording the calls to be used in my court case he refused to talk to me. They removed a window from my print without a change order and refused to replace it. My tub was installed with a crack, and the replacement that was included in the lawsuit was dragged and had scratches. Had I been the one there I would have refused it but my husband was so sick of the 2 year long battle that he just signed to be done with it. They don't side with customers when their certified dealers go out of business before a contract is completed. I wish I could return my house and start over.

First of all Commodore homes make…read moreboth Manufactured Homes built to US Federal Spec HUD and they also build true Modular homes that are built to State Spec. I notice no one stating what home they bought? Hmm one review written by a relative of the owner? Hmm. Another caulking drywall? No insulation in Windows? Hmm Well anyway I looked at a bunch of homes manufactured and modular and for quality I liked Adventure Homes and Commodore homes. The Winner was Commodore though as they had a dealer that wanted to work! Clayton homes, you have to knock on the office door to see if anyone is working! So in the end it is Commodore that is building my home!

The floors were noticeably cracked and they found cuts that were so bad, they needed to be replace the floor. There were cracking issues where the wall meets the ceiling and back flashes started to come away from the wall. Unable to warm up the house the first winter, they discovered that there was no insulation in the doors, in any of the windows nor the sliding glass door. I was shaken up to see that a home builder could be so negligible at a job they should have been good at. I would think twice before hiring this contractor.
