The other two some had to drive out and talk to started to get us a new cart. Then when we were on hole 18, the sprinklers turned on as we are hitting out shots. After the round we went to talk to someone at the pro shop and it was closed.... Robert the closer was nice and tried to assist us but this whole place needs to do better. So finding myself in October playing my first round of the year at Indian Wells Golf Resort was a little sad, but also a great way to finally kick off my golf season! We had a group of eight friends playing together, and from the moment we pulled up, it was clear this was going to be a special experience. The course is absolutely beautiful, with stunning desert and mountain views, challenging greens, and plenty of water hazards to keep things interesting. You can definitely tell this is an upscale golf resort. The carts are fantastic, equipped with fans and even misters to help keep you cool in the desert heat. Each cart also has a cooler and ball washer, and there's plenty of drinking water available throughout the course, complete with cups. These little touches really make a difference when you're golfing in Palm Springs temperatures! The course itself was in amazing condition. The fairways were beautifully maintained, the greens were challenging but fun, and the pin placements kept things interesting. There's also quite a bit of water throughout the course, which adds to both the beauty and the challenge. Since we were playing a scramble, it took some pressure off those of us who hadn't played much recently. I was pleasantly surprised that despite not having picked up my clubs all year, I managed to keep up and even contribute a few good shots! The staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed some hot dogs at the turn before heading out for the back nine. Indian Wells isn't exactly inexpensive, but this is definitely one of those courses where you feel you're getting a premium experience for your money. Between the course conditions, beautiful scenery, thoughtful amenities, and excellent service, it's easy to understand why this resort has such a great reputation. My advice? Don't rush your round. Take your time, enjoy the scenery, have a few laughs with your friends, and soak in the entire experience. Highly recommended! I'd absolutely play here again, and hopefully I won't wait until October for my first round next year!

Furthering this experience is the staff, all welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Pro shop staff, starter Dave, attendant David could not have been more pleasant. Especially want to acknowledge Shaina on the beverage cart, despite the course being full and only one attendant she was ever present, very pleasant and handled all groups efficiently and professionally and kept the pace moving. Just not common on most courses. Highly recommend Silverrock and looking forward to going back soon!

I have played at some that are just as decent for $15 for 9 holes and replay is $8. So for almost $50 plus $15 for a cart it is a little expensive for what you get. With that being said they are building a large pro shop / restraunt. Maybe thats the justification for the higher fees. The starter/marshall was friendly and knowledgeable. There were some teens and some that maybe should stick to the range a few more times before they come to a course. I should have to wait to tee off so that you can take your 3rd shot from the middle of my fairway and be pointed backwars back to your hole. All the holes are par 3, so its fairly quick. Took three of us about 2 hrs 20 min and thats with having to wait for a group in front of us to pick it up. The greens are decent and challenging. If you go in the middle of the day its not as busy. Our tee time was 4:40 and the course was pretty empty but as we finished the front 9 it was getting busy and by the time we finished the 18th it was packed. It was fun but for the price we can find PGA level courses closer to us.

The staff were great and helped us scoot out when we got there real close to our time. The course had that southern look with dormant Bermuda rough and nice green fairways and greens. Overall conditions were great. The greens were not super fast, but they were smooth and actually probably nicer than the Marriott shadow ridge course down the road. Course was fun and had appropriate challenge. Some of the bunkers and waste areas were a little rough around the edges but don't hit it in there! Scenery was also beautiful. Nicer I thought than the view from within a Palm Desert housing development. We didn't get a chance to use the driving range but looked to be pretty sizable with grass hitting area and large practice green.

You'll get your full money's worth trying to avoiding the water and sand traps with your irons. I didn't love the rough conditions of their sand traps but could have been due to the early morning. The staff is truly exceptional and professional yet still personable and fun. It's evident they have their regulars which is nice to see. What's even nicer is the complementary water and ice! Overall, you can't go wrong with booking a tee time here next time you're in the area. TIP: Look for deals online Tip #2: Wear a collared shirt and golf appropriate shorts/pants

It is a very challenging course though. Narrow fairways and tough greens. I would not recommend golfing here if you're shanking the ball all over the place. Only downside is that there is no driving range but you get over it pretty quickly because for how tough the course is, a driving range ain't gonna make a difference. I think this course is ideal for your afternoon round after your more serious round in the morning. I golfed at PGA West course earlier in the week and would rather golf here again! Definitely will be booking a round everytime im in the area.
