By refusing to amend your Letter of Protection, your office declined to work with my current provider and instead tried to usher me to seek treatment elsewhere (with one of your partnering providers). During this period, comments were made regarding my current provider that I found inappropriate and unprofessional. I was unable to see my caring physician for two weeks. Therefore, I thought it best to terminate your services, as they had done nothing but cause harm. When I requested the termination, it was then stated that there would be a lien placed on my settlement with the at-fault insurance company. No provision in the contract provided to me stated that such a lien would apply in the event of early termination. The contract was missing a signature from a representative of Frenkel and Frenkel, thus, according to your contract the contract was not valid or binding. Once I requested termination of Frenkel and Frenkel's services, only then was I provided with a fully executed contract, which had no date or confirmation of authentication. Raising concerns for me whether the contract was executed after my request to terminate. You have ignored my multiple attempts to reach out to you in regards to resolving this, which included a letter to my former attorney and then a Demand Letter to remove the lien, which was sent to both Frenkels and my former attorney. I called several times to initiate follow up and was still ignored. I will not be recommending Frenkel and Frenkel's services to anyone, and I will warn others not to fall victim to the same mistreatment and setbacks I experienced under your representation.

If you have a simple accident with you as the passenger maybe. My husband used them and referred me because he had a simple rear end accident that was settled in about 9 months. He was happy with it but me..OMG I was injured in a parking lot. First they kept moving depositions, mediations, prep calls, all without notifying me. I would be waiting at our appointed time and no call. After calling them they would say ,'oh it was moved'. They will not answer your calls or emails in a timely matter. I would call and the receptionist (mainly a guy), would say they would call me back shortly. They did not. After days of calling and asking to be emailed back they would finally respond. They would tell you wrong info and forget to follow up to receive records (Abby), after my attorney quit/got fired i dont know which one, they assigned me to Patel in Jan 2025. No one told me until I called for a deposition prep that they failed to call me for, that I had a new lawyer and they moved my deposition. Andrew was rude. The intial offer was $974k then after deposition it dropped to $650k yet during mediation she told me to take $60k. At the mediation I was fighting with the company on one front and my lawyer on the back end. Like are you serious??? I had a sprain ankle, fractured foot, over 2 dozen physical therapy sessions, an injection, surgery on my ankle, got a pay cut, then got fired from my job because I had no return to work date due to my injury AT WORK and on top of that the whole time she was saying take the offer, take the offer, you don't want to go to trial if you go to trial our fees go up, time, expense of the case and its not guaranteed for the amount to be more BUT she failed to mention that as soon as they filed it as a lawsuit their fee went from 33% to 40%. I didn't know that until I got the closing cost paperwork. Although there was no court or trial, because they filed paperwork they got an additional 7%. RIDICULIOUS! When I refused to take HER lowball offers because nothing she said panned out and she kept lowering the amount and I refused, when I said let me know the trial date, she hung up on me. Then a few minutes later she called back like she didn't JUST hang up in my face and said she talked to the owner and they thru me a few more dollars. After she made it plain that she did NOT wanna fight for me, that she just wanted to take the low ball offer and the way they handle my case over the last almost 4 years, we came to a low ball offer and I took it to be thru with them. They are AWFUL! I was not happy with the way they handle my case AT ALL. Even before I heard ANY numbers. Not updating me, not getting the documents until I reminded you to get them (I asked if the receipts were in Abby said not yet, I followed up 2 weeks later she said still not in, I asked when were they requested low and behold the day I called for the update, 2 weeks prior is the day she remembered to request them, REALLY??) Abby was incompetent in my opinion, Lourdes never got back to you as the male receptionist would always say 'she will call you right back, she will call you shortly she will contact you by the end of they day', she never did, Andrew was rude, Patel...anger issues, lazy, did NOT want to work for me AT ALL, refused to fight for me. I feel like I gave them $52k to file some paperwork and they refuse to be on my team and fight for me. If your attorney makes every excuse in the book on why you should not go to trial after you explain to them that's the path you want to take, do NOT go to trial with them. Think about it when someone absolutely forces you to do something you 100% don't wanna do and you're PISSED about it, do you give it 100% your best effort, your best work? Absolutely not! I would give them a negative rating if I could.

HIGH ALERT Update:…read moreMy insurance company reviewed my records and identified a traffic ticket that Shawn Storey was supposed to dismiss. However, the ticket was not dismissed as promised. I was initially confused, and when I contacted my insurance, they advised me to check with LexisNexis for legal records. Upon doing so, I confirmed that it was the same unresolved ticket. As a result, my insurance premiums have increased by $120 per month, a rate that will remain for the next 5 to 7 years. This amounts to an additional $1440 annually and a total of $7200 over five years. Shawn Storey failed to perform the required legal work, and in a struggling economy, I am burdened with an extra $120 each month. I advise others to steer clear of attorneys who make false promises regarding dismissals or legal outcomes. I plan to contact him again to discuss this matter and seek a resolution. Update: Despite multiple attempts, he has not returned my phone calls as we speak.

Upon hiring Mark Williamson to take my case over from another attorney, I was given the utmost…read moreconfidence from him that he "had me" and I had a 'simple' case, but it was anything but that. He did not communicate to opposing counsel, did not provide opposing counsel information that needed to be iterated from me, did not present them with options I provided, I once went 4 weeks without a work from Mark, despite blatant asks for updates. There were misspelled names of me and my child in court documents that I had to catch, inconsistent information across pleadings or documents, and an approach of "this is a slam dunk" but no real action being taken. Upon mediation, things that I did not say were shared with opposing counsel, and only a half day mediation was booked for a complex case. We got about 3 hours of actual work in. After mediation, I learned that a mediation agreement was drafted and sent to opposing counsel yet Mark claimed to have not received it, despite being copied on the emails. Mediation settlement notes were not sent to opposing counsel, despite opposing counsel asking for updates. It was left as "just wait for temporary court orders", but opposing side received not even an update. Come time for temporary orders, I got a call that the orders hearing was postponed (booked for 5 months) due to Mark and/or firm NOT FILING COURT REQUIRED PLEADINGS on time, despite being prepped for trial. This blew my case, set court back additional months, and required me to seek outside counsel and do serious damage control to my case. I never received any communication after this from Mark, essentially being ghosted by my own attorney despite sending 6+ written communications for an explanation and my files. I had such confidence in this attorney, but it ended up harming me, my life, my finances, and my case more than words can say.
