They performed an ultrasound, which took over 45 minutes, on one leg only, while lying down (more on that later). I *almost* had a procedure of which I honestly had no idea what they were going to do. I never went through with it; it was a gut feeling. I continued to wear compression stockings, which made my legs feel great, while berating myself for what I thought was simply a cosmetic issue. A year later, still uncomfortable with this vein (I cycle and run and it would bulge further; plus, how does one even consider compression stocking while cycling and running?), I searched and found VIP. Contrast their ultrasound: less than 15 minutes?, both legs, while standing up. THAT made much more sense. Their tech was mighty efficient. When I mentioned how good my legs felt with the compression stockings, Dr. Tandon brightened up. Apparently, I had been dealing with fatigue for years, without ever attributing it to my poor vein circulation. In fact, I attributed it to aging. Takeaway lesson: don't make the same assumption (I am 65). I have been so happy with both legs having had radio frequency ablation, and at the end of all that, removing that unsightly vein with AP and Sclero. It's almost as if that wasn't even the big issue after all. I can attest to how great I feel--able to run, cycle, hike, and more, with no fatigue. Unfortunately, that is not the case and I still have to get waxed monthly and shave my legs every day if I want them to be smooth. I would say I saw maybe a 40% reduction in my hair thickness and amount. I spoke with Kathy about how I was not satisfied with my results and she offered to discount any additional treatments by 25%. I think I did a sixth treatment (brazilian) but it didn't make much of a difference and in total I had already spent over $1500 so I didn't want to continue spending my money here any more. I understand that laser hair removal is not total hair removal, nor is it permanent, but I was really expecting to see a more significant reduction in my hair growth considering the price I paid for the services. When the veins remained prominent, I called for an appointment. Dr. Malvey responded to my call to make another appointment by blocking my number. About a week later hethen called me and told me, "Do not come back." When I asked him why, he hung up. I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They contacted him twice, but he never replied. The California Attorney General's office suggested I contact the police to open a fraud case, which is my next step.

Currently he's holding up a colonoscopy because I didn't get a stress test 2 years ago which was between 2 spinal surgeries. Doesn't care to hear what the patient has to say. I've complained in the past but no apologies. I have never had less than 45min wait in exam room after appointment.
