We have used Modern Tech Services for two different projects. Home theater and security camera installation. In both instances they were, prompt, courteous, reasonable and most of all knowledgeable. Their desire to ensure everything was perfect was impressive. Alex and Steven were knowledgeable of the systems, prompt, polite and took the time to thoroughly explain how to use the camera system. I can't say enough good things about the team at Modern Technology Services LLC. We have hired them for 3 different jobs and the service and attention have been beyond the call of duty. The first call was for my mothers tv that needed mounting. I will add that we called them at 4pm and they were able to send someone out that same day. We had tried to install the mount ourselves and it was a hot mess. We called Modern Services and Tony answered the phone and told me he could fix our issue no problem. His techs, Dominic and Alex showed up and were done in 30 minutes. They also added molding and hid cable to our other tv in the house. Dominic and Alex were courteous and professional. Since we had such a good experience with them at my mothers, we decided to contract them for our own house. We had 3 tvs to mounts, 2 entertainment centers to build, 2 wall plates to put in, and an ethernet connection that needed to be added to my wife's office. Since it was such a large job, Tony, Dominic and Alex came to do the install. Again, they were efficient, and amazing. I was so impressed with their work that I have also contracted them to do wifi optimization in my house. I felt so comfortable with the Tony, Alex and Dominic that I left them at my house working alone while I left several times. 1st off let me start off by saying this may be the best customer service I have ever had. The tech was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They even did a free survey for future projects and gave me recommendations. I had my 65 in television wall mounted wires free. I watch him work the entire time. I have an IT background so I wanted to see if he knew what he was doing and I also wanted to see if he'd try to sell me some BS; he had integrity. Tony with Modern Technology Services is terrific! Very knowledgeable, exceptionally professional, prompt and is willing to take time and explain everything and answer all the questions and just a super nice guy to have business with. His service is as good as it gets. When installing Control 4 for our home he faced unexpected problems: the room the system was supposed to be installed was the farthest end of the house from our router and needed an extender. After everything was done and working with control 4 and after Tony was gone all of a sudden I found out, that my laptop is not getting wifi correctly throwing me off every 5 minutes, though all the other devices, like ipads and iphones were working perfectly well, in the same area. I called Tony and he came the next morning and in half hour everything was fixed. It turned out that my laptop did not like the extender and was trying to connect to both : extender and rout at the same time. Very smart guy! No doubt I will use his service again! read more
