For no reason I'm aware, that card became corrupt. The photos contained on that card were mostly priceless photos of my baby girl from when she was born and videos of when she first smiled, cooed, etc. I was DEVASTATED. I called my phone company, Geek Squad, and other local computer places for help who said if my card was corrupt there was nothing they could do for me. I had given up and thought all my memories were lost. Tim Allen from CyTech walked into my work to spread the word of the local business and I'd asked him half jokingly and hopelessly if they did any data recovery. Without hesitation, not knowing me or how valuable the photos were to me, offered to have the CEO Bruce Hassler to take a look at it. That same day, Bruce called me himself to tell me he was able to save all of my precious videos and photos! They both were so kind, empathetic and helpful. They and their company is a true example of skill, humanity and kindness at its finest and I would highly recommend them without hesitation for your IT service needs! When I arrived at the store there was a man behind the printing desk on his phone drinking a smoothie. He told me that he couldn't do it tonight because he had "closing work." It was very clearly the same guy I talked to on the phone. I didn't know closing work, involved smoothie drinking or phone time. But clearly it does to this unprofessional man. I will say this location has very nice employees during the day, it's just clear the "B team" is who works at night. Go to FedEx instead!!
