At the time, Soren was attentive and recommended a few options for the project. I also inquired about yearly inspection and maintenance as a preventative measure for future issues. He indicated I should recieve quotes for the different options from them VIA email shortly, and then I never heard back. I tried contacting and left messages with them several times over the next few weeks through phone calls and email with absolutely no response. Even responding back to me indicating they didn't want to do the work would have been acceptible. In the end they wasted my time during the initial inspection, and subsequient inquiries trying to get quotes. I can't imagine this company being reliable for regular maintenance given thier poor handling of this situation. I was able to go with another company who provided prompt responses and service. I would suggest looking to options other than A1 for your roofing needs.

The home inspector did not have The Roofer, Paul Olguin's phone number. I found the only and presumed business phone number online. I called to see if I could set an appointment to look at our roof problem. The phone rang several times then the operator said the number you have dialed does not have a mailbox set up, goodbye. I had called three other types of contractors to set up other work needed for our new home. Later my phone rang a person said you called this number what do you want. Caught off guard I said who is this as I am not sure who you are. He said you called this number don't you know, I said I did not have the numbers memorized and was not sure who was calling. The caller did not offer his name personal or business. He said well when you figure it out call me back, I am busy and have other calls to make then hung up. When calling a business I am used to hearing XYZ contractors you called how may I help you. He never would tell me who he was or give me information. I was so taken aback that I did research and found the referred numbers I had called and found that it was Paul Olguin owner of a roofing company call the Roofer. If he had indicated who he was when I said who is this I would connected the dots. He was just rude and avoided telling me who he was, then he said when you figure it out call me back then he hung up. My first thought was he had a bad day and wanted to throw his phone through a wall. My second thought was if he would act this way to me now, I should be thankful that I had dodged a bullet and should keep looking for someone else to pay money to. My third thought was that I should let other potential customers know what type of person they would be dealing with. I have never reviewed a company before. I am not a crackpot, I have a long history of working with contractors and all would return my call to do business again. I pay the bill and have been told by others I am a great communicator and easy to work with. Maybe this roofer has so much business and is so successful that he doesn't need new customers. I truly hope this is the case!

Our asphalt shingle roofs on our house and barn were damaged in a hail storm. Ethan came out the…read moreday after we called and inspected both roofs which needed complete replacement. He made it so easy to file a claim with our homeowners insurance Farmers. Once we called Farmers they just communicated with each other. They handled the rest and within a few weeks they were reroofing our house! Farmers had no issues with claim and sent us the money to start project and then the balance when it was complete. There were no surprises and all we paid was our deductible. Their crew were so professional, clean and FAST!!! Our house and barn were completed in two days!! This was an unexpectedly easy and painless experience thanks to these guys! Thanks AMCAT!! We highly recommend them.

I will say, that this company will push insurance on you and you may end up with out an insured roof as a result. I would not recommend this company, and definitely do your research!
