Nicole and Keala are wonderful people, and I will greatly miss In Balance's community. I also love that a primary focus of their studio is geared toward supporting the community either through donation flows or making yoga accessible for those on tight budgets. They also handled their response to COVID-19 responsibility and ethically by quickly moving their classes to Zoom. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a community that's focused on supporting your personal growth, giving back, and having fun!

She's been teaching Pilates for over 20 years and has a tremendous amount of knowledge. Because of her vast knowledge, she is able to address any specific needs and physical limitations you have as an individual. She really cares that people learn how to do Pilates right. The correct form is very important to her. She keeps her classes small enabling her to give everyone individualized attention. She has several classes throughout the day so if you miss your scheduled class it's easy to make it up. Every class is fun, and I've met so many great people in her classes. I highly recommend Energy Within...I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

It was kind of like a trippy meditative kindergarten naptime. Every other class I've taken--Hatha, Hatha Flow, and Yin--has been just the right amount of challenging but also mellow and kind. The studio is vinyasa/hatha based with some heated classes (warm like 80s, no hot to the 90s or 100s). I love this studio and particularly Jill's classes because of the smart sequencing to music and peak poses. Most of the time I feel like I'm almost dancing fluidly through the asanas! The instructors (particularly Jill, Steve, Sarah, Kimberley and Wendi) challenge you to inversions, arm balances and binds. The studio definitely has a cult following and this is evident if you go to the Saturday 930am class!

Walked in to look for a new gym, walked up to the front counter and was ignored for 4-5 minutes with a worker playing on her phone 2 feet away from us. A lady from the back had to come and get her attention. Never offered a tour, or what that had to offer, so we went and walked around looking for ourselves to see what they had. Glad that happened, we found a place that was very happy to add us as members. My personal experiences, some may love the place but your front line workers are an example of how management conducts themselves. Not for me. I need more than some weights, customer service goes a long way.

We were in town recently visiting my parents and needed an activity for my two boys to get some…read moreenergy out. I did a Yelp search of the area and this place popped up. Our experience wasn't great - but I think that's largely because from the online photos we were expecting something closer to what we've experienced back home at our local climbing gyms. The whole facility is much more catered to serious climbers than kids. I was amazed watching some of the adult folks who came in and tried the huge bolder walls. We came in about 2 in the afternoon. It took almost 30 minutes just to get checked in, rental equipment, MANY statements about how my children could be harmed or die, and then a whole bunch of instruction on how to do the harnesses. That was new for us - every other climbing gym we've been to has staff to assist children with this. Then we were faced with the fact that there are only 5 climbing paths that have safety harnesses - this didn't end up being too much of an issue because no other kids came in, so my boys had free-reign to swap between the paths, but if there had been more kids - I anticipate we'd have been waiting around a lot to take turns. Also my arthritis was quite unhappy with me after over an hour of fastening harnesses. If we end up back in town, would we do it again? Maybe - the pricing was fair, and the boys did end up enjoying it. But if you're looking for a child-specific activity, that's not really what the vibe of this place is.
