I spoke to Cassandra and she immediately put me at ease with her "can do" attitude. Within 48 hours she had everything organized. "Sushi and Champagne" was a huge success and the chef Newport sourced was amazing. They really took all the stress out of organizing a dinner party. The communication with the owners throughout the planning process was super clear and easy. We were a little nervous about all of the logistics coming together as we had not hosted an event like this before, but were assured by Pascale's experience and planning. Everything went as she said- and even better- the waitstaff were professional, attentive, dare I say handsome :) and the food itself was AMAZING!!! They were flexible with everything-- the time, the place, the ceremony. She has a huge packet of sample ceremonies, so we picked one and then swapped some more personal things in like our own vows and a reading we selected. During the ceremony, Judie spoke with such a joyful tone, I truly felt like she knew us and was so happy we were getting married. Liam is the photographer, and while he might seem a little shy at first, he is a BLAST to work with. I told him that we'd like nice, bright photos, and also expressed my concern regarding some ugly fence in the background. He really made everything work, and we had a great time during our one-hour photo shoot. We got 50 pictures back (less than a week later) and LOVE every single one of them. We met her and Liam in the Park, the ceremony was lovely and exactly what we wanted. It was SOOOOO COLD that day, we called it early on photos (we got two hours with the package we bought). I think we froze Judie to near death, as well as my mother-in-law, but we still got some very nice pictures. Prices were very reasonable as well, if you price two hours with a photographer in NYC, you will find that these two offer a great deal.

Our table was close to the bar and the kitchen door, which is just a coincidence but made drinks and horderves super easy. The pass around horderves were beef empanatas, beef BBQ sate, chicken dumplings and pigs in the blanket. The dumpling were tasty and warm, being so close to the kitchen. The PIB were amazing, homemade and not frozen. The pastry was light and flaky and cooked perfectly. I would do PIB and horderves all night log. The main course choices were chicken parm, a salmon dish and prime rib. The portions of salmon and chicken parm were larger than any catering hall I have ever been too. I had the prime rib which was rare and cooked perfectly. The 1" slice of beef was also a larger portion than norm. The beef was delicious and one of the best I have ever had at a wedding or catered event. The guest next to me asked our server for a well done piece and was promptly brought a beautiful end cut. I was jealous and wish I had asked. All of the wait staff was super attentive! Well Done Villa Barone!

They were communicative throughout the entire process, helped us source the proper rentals, and on the day of, delivered an exceptional meal to our 100 guests. Their staff was courteous and professional. Michelle also created gorgeous centerpieces, along with personal flowers for our wedding party. Everyone remarked on how special the evening was, from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the bar to the dinner. I cannot recommend this catering company enough!
