I called two days in advance to cancel and reschedule an appointment, yet Jordan still charged my card. We offered him lunch, a drive, an adventure .... whatever he wanted to do to celebrate. At first, he said he didn't want to do anything. Then his face lit up. He really wanted a shave & a haircut. Hubby called to see if they could fit him in. They said sure. Come on over. We did. I want to give a shout out to the man who shaved & cut Dad's hair. I will add his name soon. This kind barber had tattoos & lips tattooed on him. This kind man was so gracious & talented. He listened to Dad & the way they interacted was simply sweet. Dad's eyebrows were also trimmed as well as a few nose hairs. Dad's transformation is getting glowing reviews on my FB page. I want you to see the transformation as well. The sign says that they are a cash establishment. They do have an ATM inside. It was an honor, for me, to watch the makeover (as I put it). Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you so much!!!!

We entered the shop and the barber that greeted us directed us to Mark. The shop has a very chill and easy-going vibe. If we ever need to book another haircut in the future, it will be here! Thank you, Mark!

After spending the last couple of months on house arrest, er, quarantine, knowing barber shops were…read moreslowly opening and not wanting to wait for the one I usually go to to open, I decided to seek one out. I happened upon Legends in Ventura, a small shop nestled between a tattoo parlor and a nail salon off Main st.. I pulled into the empty parking lot not knowing if it was open. I found that it was. There were 2 barbers there, both cutting hair but they weren't accepting walk-ins until Monday 6/1. Luckily Chris popped his head out and said if I could wait 10 min. he'd be able to do the job, his 11 o'clock cancelled so he had the time! Never been there, I walked in to a nice, newly renovated 7 chair shop. Chris's partner left so it was just us 2. I found Chris to be a very easy to talk to young man and we had a great conversation while he cut my hair. The shop caters to mostly young guys and the styles they like, but Chris knew what to do for me, nothing fancy for this 62 yr. old school guy that's had the same haircut his whole life! He was totally professional, very easy going, confident, and relaxed around me being almost old enough to be his grand-father. I highly recommend Chris if you're looking for a barber! I think I found my new got to guy! Christopher Valera, 805-258-9201
