This place did not disappoint. First off the vibes are great. The little waiting area is full of nostalgia from my childhood. VHS tapes, handheld ninja gaiden and Batman side scrollers, and comic books it had it all. The shave and trim itself was relaxing and I came out looking like new. When I scheduled I just went with a time and not a person since I'd never been. Josh was who did my beard and he hooked me up. Highly recommend I will be back for beard maintenance.

I mean I'm cheap I had one 2 weeks ago I'm fine. But my buddies felt otherwise they fired me up saying I needed a cut ASAP so they convince me and I chose a shop randomly. And I may have had my best experience at mirage barber shop. The couches were very deep and comfy I almost fell asleep. The door was open and the forecast had a light drizzle that day. Perfect barber shop atmosphere. I call d ahead to see how long the wait was which wasn't too bad I was next in line( they don't do appointments by the way, but you can call to see how many people are waiting) so I waited maybe 20 minutes and the barber and some buddies were talking and I just felt so comfortable and relaxed there with their laughter and foreign language filling the room. Now onto the haircut, I popped in the seat showed him a pic of what I wanted and mans went right to work. I don't remember his name, but my barber knew exactly what he was doing. I have medium length hair and like it styled a certain way and he blew my expectations right out the door. The best part of the cut was the beard lineup. Now I don't have much facial hair so just a nice clean up was what I was expecting. But somehow some way this man works magic with the straight razor you can tell by the pic and video I posted. I was shocked I had a nice looking scruff that was lined up. I happily tipped him as much as I could. And I made a new friend and a permeant haircut place anytime I'm in New Orleans it anytime someone asked me about a place for a haircut in New Orleans. This is the spot for those of you who might be skeptical of trying a new spot. PS the pictures are ass they're screenshotted case I can't post a video. ? But check that beard lineup

Besides a great trim (bringing me from looking like I just stepped out the woods to a respectable work beard) the guys are funny and are pretty entertaining just hanging out there.
