Incredibly unprofessional...I called to book an appointment, no mention of a mandatory mask policy…read more Was greeted by a hand sticking out the door in my face with a mask. Had to listen to the owner and her daughter complain about the tip another customer left, frequent pauses during my haircut so she could look at her daughter's phone while so they could online shop, never said a word to me while I was getting the cut except at the end to laugh about how I hadn't said anything. Finished up and of course cash only, no mention of that when I booked the appointment. Had to walk two blocks and get cash back from the grocery store. Typical entitled boomer-owned establishment - avoid at all costs. The haircut was ok.

He really likes his clients involved in their haircut which is why I came out of his shop with a great haircut! There was some great background music as well. Scott's Barber Shop doesn't allow appointments, and the haircuts are provided on a walk-in basis only. Classic pop music played over the speakers while I visited. It appears that Scott is a one-man operation, but he performs haircuts so efficiently that you don't have long to wait. I only waited about 15 minutes to be seated, and my haircut was equally fast. Scott trimmed my hair precisely to my specifications. I would highly recommend Scott's Barber Shop for men's haircuts.

I've been coming to House of Cuts for the past few months and it's become my go-to spot. My barber…read moreis Bryan Garcia and I've had a great experience with him since the first time I walked in. He's patient, he listens, and he asks questions to make sure he understands exactly what I want before he ever picks up the clippers. That's good practice, and I notice the other barbers doing the same thing with their clients too. I'm from Queens , New York, so I have high expectations when it comes to haircuts. For us it's part of your image. To me, getting a cut is the one time I can sit back, relax, have a good conversation, and walk out feeling refreshed and looking sharp. That whole experience matters just as much as the cut itself, and that's exactly what I get every time I come here. I bring my two teenagers with me, and I spread the word to anyone who compliments my haircut. On top of all that, the pricing is competitive and I feel like I get my money's worth every single time. I highly recommend Bryan because he's my barber, but I'd recommend just about any of them. I'm observant, and I've seen how they cut and how they treat their customers. If you're looking for a good haircut, quality work, and fair prices, this is the spot.
