The woman at the register was incredibly sweet, however a couple minutes after we entered, another woman came into the store. Im not sure what the woman's name was, but she was an employee. We got there about 10 minutes before closing although we were unaware of that until the other employee brought it up. We apologized & responded by saying we were just trying to get an idea of what the store had and didn't plan on staying past closing. The woman responded with "well some of us have places to be & lives to live". She came off as very rude, despite the other employee insisting to her that she would be fine alone, and that she could leave early. We got there at about 5:20, and the door was not locked, nor did the register woman mention she had an issue at all. My husband went back inside after loading our kids up to explain to the nicer woman, how off putting the other had been, and that it's deterring us as new customers to come back. He went back to iterate that behaving that way was just very rude of her, and we also wanted to ensure that she wasn't the owner of the store. 1 star off for that woman, 4 stars that maybe could become 5 depending on our next visit which will hopefully be a better one. I don't know if she was having a bad day, or an emergency, but we did not appreciate her demeanor towards us, especially in the presence of our children. The only reason we are going to give this place another shot, is due to the woman at the register who was both apologetic & sympathetic on behalf of her coworker. 05/19/2026

It's hard to find cute boys' clothes that aren't sports-themed or obnoxious (or both), and this place has a good selection of adorable stuff. They also have a lot of accessories, blankets, burp cloths, toys, bibs, diaper bags and nursery decor. I remember seeing a few strollers here, too, but they were way too rich for my blood. I find that high-end baby clothing boutiques tend to stock the things grandparents like to buy for their grandbabies. Most parents wouldn't dress their own kids in such impractical, overpriced finery. ...But that's not the case at Charlotte West -- their clothing is edgy, cool and stuff you won't find at big box stores. Which is great, but OW, my wallet. The people who work here ignore me every time I go in, until I walk up to the cash register. I would love for one of them to offer to help me sometime, but I guess it's not worth it to them unless I'm dropping a grand on a stroller. (Last time I was there, they were busy with a woman who had a registry.) I'll keep going back, but I'm finding I spend less and less each time.

I first received a call a few days after I placed my order to inform me that my order had not shipped as indicted due to the Passover holiday but would be sent out once business resumed. I paid through PayPal and the funds had not been transferred to Ladida Kids so I knew the order had not been processed. Fast forward a week latter, the owner calls and starts out with, "so here's the deal with your order", and proceeds to tell me that the Blue Velvet Mary Janes I ordered were not in stock as she herself had gotten them for her own daughter. Rebecca the owner, went on to say how badly she felt and because of this, the next time I ordered she'd take 10% off of my order. I am beyond displeased for the following reasons: 1. I ordered these items with and upcoming shoot in mind so time has been of the essence. 2. Why have an item listed as "last one" if it isn't in stock. (The Papanatas were beautiful and on sale so I see the appeal but why list in the first place if the owner is securing for her daughter?) 3. It wasn't the holiday that delayed the shipment going out because I never received a notice the items were going out; the item was not available and I would have been happy with simply hearing this the first time instead of a week later. I have been following Ladida Kids on Instagram and was so excited to make a purchase; the clothes and shoes appear to be awesome but I am completely turned off by the customer service I received and the insult of an apology that simply translates to, "sorry, but I don't have the shoes in stock because I retained them for my own kid" To me, a good owner would stand by a customers purchase as the shoes were in stock when I ordered them, period. I love the merchandise and the website but sadly to say, I won't be finding out anything else about Ladida Kids.
