This guy said he could see the car shine from 4 blocks away and needed to see what was on it that made it look so spectacular. I want to warn you. I thought I could do this myself. So I purchased a ceramic kit and proceeded to apply it to another vehicle before attempting the Vette. My wife is still mad at me. I won't try that again. Did not turn out as expected and now it won't come off. Somethings are better left to the experts. Dave is certified and knows what he is doing. He also is very detail oriented. I explained to the guy that I've been wanting to have my car detailed for a while but my schedule is really crazy and I never know what I'm doing from day-to-day lately. he asked me if he could call me right back after he tried to work some things out on his schedule. He called me back within 5 minutes and said he would be over within the hour to detail my car. The guy who arrived (Adam) was prompt and nice. He had all of the equipment needed to clean my car including the water! He detailed my car from top to bottom inside and out. He also used a clay bar and cleaned all door jambs, shampooed the carpet, clean all of the seats with leather cleaner and special moisturizer, detailed around all of the vents and even fixed a spot that was on my carpet. He charges less than a big car washes that detail and he will come directly to you. I'll never go to a big car wash chain again. This experience was great and allowed me to stay home to get some chores done. I will definitely have him back again in the future. David performed a full machine sanding (1k grit) on the hull sides, top deck side walls, and flat surfaces, followed by a heavy cut 3M compound with a rotary, then a DA polish to remove all haze and light swirls. He finished it off with a ceramic coating, and the results are flawless. He also treated and removed water spots from the windows, applied a protective wax coating, and did a full compartment cleaning in all areas. On top of that, he thoroughly cleaned the interior, scrubbed the teak wood floor, windows, and cushions--everything looks fresh, spotless, and professionally restored. David's attention to detail, work ethic, and pride in his craft really stand out. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about the end result and treats your boat like it's their own, David is the guy. Highly recommend his services to anyone looking to bring their boat back to life.
