I can't sing Lauren Herskovic's praises high enough. This incredible woman bent over backwards for me and my husband while we searched, at length for our new multi-unit property. We met Patrick one day at the beginning of our search going to a few open houses, in which he was the listing agent of one. He was warm and inviting, but not pushy. We had a few questions about renovating the unit he was showing and Chicago property, he had answers for everything we needed. The Moda office Is in the Lincoln commons area and is a beautiful loft style office. Everything you could want to drink or snack on was available. After narrowing down our search a bit we toured some properties, found a few wee liked. He gave amazing advice on the way Chicago homes are built and what maintenance is needed. After back in forth with one property we had made an offer and began the negotiations for it. Patrick was very good at making appropriate suggestions that really aided in our counters. We finally accepted an offer and we had plan to drop off the earnest money that night. We saw a unit that we had loved but was out of our price range a few months ago come back on the market at a lowered rate. We called Patrick and said we must see this property tonight before someone takes it. Patrick got to work immediately and had moved things around in his schedule to ensure we got in before anyone else. The seller did not want to start tours till the open house the next day, but Patrick's negotiation skills got us in. We saw the property put in above asking offer to get the deal done. The seller accepted. During inspection a few things came to light and Patrick was eager to help us negotiate credits with the seller. He also answered every question I had regarding repairs who to contact. The man knows everyone that can help lawyers, contractors, electricians, HVAC, fireplace ext.
