Went to the Standup v improv show. The only reason i'm not giving it a 1 is because the second guy who did stand up was hilarious. It was just an uncomfortable watch, the people who did improv would also be in the crowd fake laughing. I understand it's hard when the crowd isn't giving you much to work with but i've been to small venues and shows before and have never left as dissatisfied and disappointed as I did from here. Sadly, this is time and money i'll never get back. I understand people have off days but this was a TOUGH watch. read more

I went here for a show this weekend because I am always looking for a reason to go to Liberty Station, and let me tell you I had the best time!! I never knew how funny improv was!! A great stop if you like improv - many of their shows are free or a few bucks (we saw lyrics and laughs + all hands on deck). Both shows were really entertaining. Took a one off improv class with an instructor named Matt who was absolutely amazing! He knew what he was doing and did a great job at giving us notes, then half way through the class the Artistic Director barged into the class and started taking focus and time away from the course, bragging about his improv resume, asking questions and even getting on stage at one point, taking away practice time for those of us who actually PAID for the course. My friends and I were super uncomfortable the whole time by this guy and we felt bad that the excellent instructor's lesson plan was cut short due to the Artistic Director's ego and lack of professionalism. read more
