Driving through Forks at 7:00 am, and badly needed some coffee. We stumbled upon this cute little spot. It gets a 5 because let's face it, when you're a coffee addict driving through the middle of a forest, and come across coffee, it's an oasis!! Yay, a coffee stand open until 7 PM -- the only thing better is a coffee stand open until 11 PM. As someone who conducts about 90% of her vacations in the Forks area, the constant guzzling of quad shot lattes is a vital part of my normal health and functioning when driving crazy-like everywhere and gleefully plunging into ten mile hikes in the rainforest. Mocha motion is quick and cheap (coffee can get a bit pricey in the middle of nowhere up here, by my Portland standards) and with the usual quality one would want. But really their main selling point is location, right off the 101 and next to the best hotel in Forks, the Pacific Inn. read more

The Service was fine. The menu had a lot to choose from...but when the barista said there would be 50cent additional charge for using a card I was like no thank you and here's your coffee back! Only coffee shop/espresso stand that I've ever seen do this. Ridiculous! read more

This review is only for the breakfast sandwiches. They may have great coffee, and the staff person was perfectly nice. But the croissant sandwich was just about the saddest thing I've ever seen. They have two different breakfast sandwiches, and both either have ham or sausage. In bold letters the menu says "No customization - - served as is." So no luck if you don't want meat-- don't even ask to get it pulled out, I guess. I got the ham, egg and cheese croissant and it was the soggiest thing--you couldn't even really pick it up, because both ends flopped down and everything fell out. It was greasy, and squished flat. It was terrible. I'm sure they're made in advance, and then get wrapped up in a foil wrapper, where they start to steam and get soggy, and then they probably get microwaved for the customer in the booth, which is the nail in the coffin. A Shot in the Dark, on the north end of town, has the same menu, so I'm guessing it's the same owner. I'd gotten the bagel sandwich there the previous morning and it was bad as well. The quest for an on-the-go breakfast in Forks continues. Too bad none of the coffee stands have a breakfast burrito. I think those would hold up better being pre-made then heated up than the sandwiches do. read more

I decided to stop here to grab a coffee while passing through Forks. There were a couple of cars in line ahead of me, but I only waited about 5 minutes or so which wasn't bad at all. Delicious!!! Got three coffees there for myself and my party. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our coffees. The girl working the stand was very polite and quick. Best coffee stand in town! I've tried the others but no one makes my white chocolate macadamia nut mocha like mocha motion.

For beverages and coffee drinks this is a great drive thru to go to. They seem to use quality coffee. We had a mocha latte and iced latte and both were very good. read more

I was on a weekend trip in Olympic National Park when I decided to stop by Forks (absolutely because of Twilight...) for breakfast. This coffee stand is right across the street from the Forks diner and it was the first coffee stand of its kind that I had seen! I soon found out that these are all around the Seattle area - super cute. I remember liking my coffee but not so much the long wait. The car in front of us took a really, really long time (maybe they had a large order) and I wasn't sure why they didn't just encourage us to go around the stand to the other window. read more

This is by far the best coffee shop I have ever been to! We got their "Christmas in a Cup" two days in a row now, and it is heavenly! My old standby is a skinny vanilla latte that is out of this world! I have never written a review about coffee before, but this place is phenomenal! Also had a croissant breakfast sandwich that was very good as well. The staff is always so friendly and happy! I look forward to visiting Mocha Motion every time I visit Forks! read more

ok you guys really need to work on your cappuccinos...to hot..to much milk...not the right balance of foam and milk....the foam should pour light and airy....and you are suppose to be able to taste the wonderful espresso!...cappuccino is not suppose to weigh a pound and be scalding hot...if you can find the nice balance and perfect your cappuccinos i would love to give you more stars...I will stop by the next time i am in Forks and see if you are working on it... read more

On a recent visit to Forks, I decided to stop at this place for a pick-me-up on the way out of town. It was busy, early on a Sunday morning, which was a good sign. There was a car already there, and two people on foot in front of my car, at 7am! I waited about 15 minutes for it to be my turn. As the pedestrians were finishing, a group of bicyclists rode up and cut in front of me. Because I don't feel like running over bicyclists, I had to yield my place in line. I decided I didn't have more time to wait, at a place that allows people to cut in line. I give them one star because I know they actually produce coffee (as evidenced by the cups others took with them) but no stars for customer service. read more
