[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place to hang with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is casual and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are games available, too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our bartender, Heidilee, was wonderful! She overheard me speaking to a friend about my gluten allergy when I arrived and had a sample of the cider ready for me as soon as I turned to the bar. Now that's service!

This Review is for the Coffee Shop ONLY. I loved this little coffee shop. It's inside of a brewery but it's off to the side and the hours are different. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very quiet and peaceful, even though it's quite small inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very new-looking and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the design.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The prices are fair, I paid around $5 for a vanilla cap with almond milk. The flavor was subtle yet strong. The quality of the coffee is top notch, you can just tell. The barista was friendly and fast. Had us in and out rather quickly. I'd gladly come back to this shop if I'm in the area.

So amazing with great coffee and great customer service! The beer is great too! Both are inexpensive for the good quality you get.

Such a great place to stop off I-95 for a stretch, (1) beer and snack at the food truck! Glad we found this little hidden gem!

I'll let the photos from other reviews do the talking, but if you enjoy a good backstory, ask about the history of the space. My mission for the night was simple: end the evening with a great gin cocktail. I started with the Donna Bella from the menu. It was well made, but I thought the bitters were a little too forward for my taste. Next, I asked for an off-menu modification: a Water Lily for Teresa, but made with Roku Gin. It was a strong contender--aromatic, balanced, and beautifully floral. If you're a fan of a French 75, this is a fun cocktail to explore. It's less citrus-forward and leans into a floral profile with a character that's hard to compare to anything else. For the final round, I went with bartender's choice. Mick asked a few questions about my flavor preferences and absolutely nailed it. They crafted a cocktail with Roku gin, snap pea cordial, aloe liqueur, egg white, lemon simple, mint, and citrus that was easily the highlight of the night. Fresh, layered, and memorable, it's a drink that deserves a permanent spot on the menu....Mission accomplished. If you're willing to wander beyond the barbershop business front and you consider yourself a spirit explorer, Volstead is well worth the visit. Go for a round...or two. If you're local, this could easily become your staple spot. For what it is, strong craft cocktail bar option. Bartenders choice is the way to go.

The house band is pretty good, a little bit on the young side, but they seem to get the job done. OK. After the house being played a set, they had a sit in sessions with various musicians, which is always nice. The atmosphere is subtle and quiet at least for a club. Location is great, and the staff seemed friendly. It's good to have a place in Jacksonville with an environment like this and a place where you can go and listen to jazz/blues. I wish there was more like this, maybe with a little bit of older, jazz, musicians and more people who appreciate jazz as it didn't seem like the audience was 100% jazz lovers, but that doesn't detract too much especially since there's not a lot of places in Jacksonville that do what they're doing here.

At first we ended up at the bar-only spot (easy mistake), but they quickly pointed us around the corner to the main restaurant--no hassle at all. Anna took great care of us. Super friendly, checked in just enough, not too much. They noticed it was my wife's birthday and actually made it feel special--multiple birthday wishes and a complimentary dessert for the table, which was a nice touch. Great location too. Overall really good experience... would definitely go back.

Pool tables are $1 per game and there's maybe 5-6 tables. My daughter won the chinese food claw game a few times and even got some jewelry so she was really excited. There's plenty of space and it's not fancy, but the kids had alot of fun and it's real laid back & casual. The lumpia was alight and the kids ate their hotdogs. Most who had the french fries liked them. I had the fried shrimp and wasn't impressed. There was thick crispy breading, but could taste alot of salt. I did not like it as much as some of the other dedicated seafood restaurants in town. The grits were just alright also. I guess my favorite was the sweet tea. The bathrooms were clean, but the soap dispensers didn't seem to work. The bartender/server was helpful and I liked the weird jukebox they had. This was our big event for the day and everyone in my family had a good time and enjoyed the visit.
