Nice and dirty smoking inside bathroom door hanging by a thread and that's if you're brave enough to use it the motel behind the place helps lend to the atmosphere of dive bar with the clientele that comes in from it but I guess on the up note if you want to smoke crack and then have a place to sleep it's there for you read more

Sounds cool, right? Like maybe it's got aviation vibes, a chill airport theme, maybe even a fancy drink with a paper airplane on top. Yeah... no. The second we walked in, I swear we entered a time machine set to "Florida Dive Bar, Circa 1985." The air was thicker than Jason's bad decisions -- a spicy mix of cigarre smoke, spilled beer, and lost ambitions. My lungs immediately filed for vacation days. There's a liquor store attached to the bar. A literal liquor store. So if you ever thought, "Hey, I wish I could grab a fifth of whiskey and do karaoke before my flight," congratulations -- Jacksonville has answered your prayers. Atmosphere: Think: biker bar meets airport layover meets "my uncle's garage." There's 2 pool table, a jukebox that only plays Lynyrd Skynyrd, and about six regulars who definitely know each other's legal names and misdemeanors. Jason tried to order a cocktail, and the bartender gave him the same look I give my cat when it meows at the fridge. She said, "We got beer, whiskey, or both." A woman of efficiency and power. Food: Didn't order it, but the fryer was working harder than a Spirit Airlines gate agent. The smell alone could clog an artery. Jason swore he saw something fried that looked like it used to have feathers. Bathrooms: Look, I've seen cleaner scenes in The Walking Dead. The door was hanging by a single screw like it was just tired of existing. I went in a boy, came out a philosopher. Vibes: Some dude started the music machine halfway through my drink. It was "Free Bird," naturally. I'm 90% sure it lasted longer than our layover. The music was like his ex was watching and she'd just texted, "New number, who dis?" Final thoughts: Would I go back? Only if I lose a bet or need to write another review. Would I recommend it? Absolutely -- everyone deserves to see this beautiful chaos once in their life. It's not classy. It's not clean. It's not quiet. But it's real. And if you survive the smoke, you'll walk out with a story worth telling. Rating: 3/5 overall -- but 10/10 for vibes, comedy, and character development. I like dive bars cuz you never know what to expect. This lounge is walking distance from the Hilton and they have. A drive through liquor store attached to it !! DOPE! It's attached to a motel so it always has people in it. I like it it's pretty chill and the prices are cool. I was staying at a hotel down the street and stopped in. It was such a fun place that I went twice. Both times, the bartender introduced herself to me when I sat down, and both were super friendly. The regulars were very welcoming; one even bought me a drink. Yes, it's a dive, but that is part of its charm. Fair prices too. read more

Before I give my negative review, I would like to say that Flight 747 is a nice environment overall, however, one of the managers was loud, obnoxious, and openly hostile toward another employee. It's unfortunate because the bar itself is great, but this kind of unprofessional behavior from management needs to be addressed. Better leadership would make a big difference in maintaining the positive vibe of the place. The establishment would benefit greatly from better-trained and more professional managers who foster a positive environment for both employees and customers. read more

Wasn't filled with smoke. Wife and I had a great time. Go elsewhere for food. Not a food place. Going across the parking lot to use the restroom, is not part of this place. In town for work, and this bar happens to be about 1.5 miles from the hotel I'm staying at. Read that they did karaoke, and figured I'd give it a try. First, they have an abundant amount of selection with alcohol. Being that it's also a liquor store, no shortage in that. The drinks are heavy, tasty, and cheap, all of which I appreciate. The bartenders quickly make you feel like you belong, although it's clear who goes here a lot. And it's mostly locals, which is why I liked it so much. It's definitely a dive bar with great music, conversation, and ambiance abound. You're allowed to smoke in here (not my thing, but just know you'll smell like smoke when you leave). And I believe karaoke 5 times a week? When I come back through this area, it will be my go to. From what I understand. The hotel behind this place looks a little seedy, and that drives away a few people. I could personally care less, and that only adds to the character of this place. To attest to how great this place is; the bartenders drink here when their off (which either means their alcoholics, oooorrrr, they really like the place they work at when their not serving). Interesting dive bar near the airport. They have good drinks that are very cheap. The place has a decent atmosphere with a mix of all kinds of people. They also have different nights like karaoke, etc. The bartender that served us was there for 17 years, I believe and she was quite a character and was great at what she does. Divey-est of dive bars, lots of fun tho! Great drink prices, liquor store inside the bar that doesn't close til they close (at 1:30). Decent service despite a crowd, they didn't have food last night and one of the tap beers tasted a little off, and they close a tad early for a Friday night, if not for those minor issues I'd happily assign 5 stars to this dive! I wish there were an option to give this place zero stars. I'm a big fan of dive bars but this place is just a dump. I went in on a Tuesday night with a couple of fellow coworkers and after having 2 beers, the bouncer came to me accusing me of saying profane things to his girlfriend and grabbing her butt. First of all his girlfriend was the DJ up on a stage that I was no closer than 30 ft away from the whole time I was there. If for some god forsaken reason I got closer than 30 ft to the stage there's not A chance in hell that I would have ever purposely touched his girlfriend as I would have avoided that possibility at all costs due to the fact that I am a married man really would have had to be pretty desperate to do such a thing just based off looks alone. Apparently he didn't like the fact that I didn't appreciate his false accusations so he decided to start throwing punches at my face rather than ask me to leave as a normal bouncer might. Now that it's all said and done, I'm left with a broken nose, a cracked vertebrae and a missing IPhone 11. The only people I would recommend this place to is a few good friends that insist I go back and show them what a dump the place is so they can see for theirselves. read more

To be honest its a dive but when you have a long wait for a shuttle or flight. Check this place out 8$ yuenling pitchers . And 6$ for 5 wings and a good amount of fries very worth it. Crowd is local and down to earth this place is pretty legit cheap and 1/2 mile from airport. read more
