We can't say how much we appreciate the care and support we received from Spencer, Danika, Lara, and Bart! After trying to work with another company initially, we were not comfortable arranging for an elderly parent's travel home from Northern CA to Utah. However, we found MTS and it all changed from there. Spencer and Danika were so wonderful and compassionate with making the arrangements, we felt the stress of it all melting away. I needed transportation to return home from a lengthy stay in hospitals, and had experienced MTS that I'd used while in the hospitals. Every trip was 100% professional, convenient, and reasonable to hire. The drivers are so nice, strong, helpful, and knowledgeable of how to help. Spencer, Jose, Sam and Foy (pardon the misspelling) are excellent drivers! I'm sure all of the others are, too, but haven't had their help, yet. I had ACL reconstruction and needed a same-day ride to and from the hospital in a relatively short notice. Since I'm in the process of making new friends and my family lives in a different state, it was hard finding a ride. I'm an athlete here in Park City, Utah. It wasn't until I googled MTS and called that I suddenly realized the idea of relying on a legitimate service! Danika, Spencer, and Glenn were SO supportive in taking me to and from. This service was recommended by University of Utah Medical Center when my dad was discharged for home health care and hospice after 12 days in the hospital. When they arrived at our house they weren't able to bring the gurney into the house (2 low steps up) or take him from the gurney to a chair/bed because there was only the driver without an assistant. My sister and I were here with my mom, but it was a strain for us to be relied upon to help with the gurney, both due to physical strength needed and due to the stress we were under setting up everything for him to be home again. My dad kept complaining in the next 3 days about how rough the ride was: he said he felt every bump, the driver decelerated rapidly many times (i.e. slammed on the brakes), etc. (My dad passed away on the 4th day of being home.) So we were doubly disappointed when we expressed this to the UofU discharge manager who conveyed it to Mobility, and then the driver called my mom today to defend all of the above rather than express empathy, concern, regret and commitment to prevent such a poor experience for all customers in the future. Why is it so hard to step in your customer's shoes? Especially when you're in a business providing services to people who are in an especially stressful situation? And why is it so impossible to simply say "I'm sorry"?? Outrageous. I'm so upset my mom has had to endure such inept behavior through and through this entire ordeal. read more
