I found out about this place through work as we had a company vehicle that needed to be fitted with…read morerunning boards for an individual I support that has mobility issues. We had been in correspondence with the staff for about a month prior to getting our van fitted. They were easy to deal with and quick to return messages. When I brought our vehicle to the Etobicoke location, the first thing I noticed was how pleasant the secretary was. Second was the display area. There were a couple of vehicles fitted with various pieces of equipment that can be ordered and fitted for your specific vehicles. Which is nice to see if you're ever wondering what the end result would look like. I dropped off the van and they gave me an estimated time of completion which was quoted at approximately 5 hours but they had said that if I left a contact number they would call to let me know when the service would be completed. Well, the service was completed in less than the quoted time and the running boards made a huge difference for the individuals that I support. Getting in and out of the vehicle is so much easier for them to navigate. We are very pleased with the end product and so far there have been no issues and the running boards have remained in place. We will definitely be using Silver Cross again if we need to have anything else installed.
