A little smaller than the Byre's Road Boots, but actually much better laid out. This means that it feels bigger, and that it's MUCH easier to find whatever it is that you're looking for. They manage to squeeze a surprisingly good amount of stock in, which is always a pleasant surprise! There's a well stocked Pharmacy counter in this store - which thus far has had everything in that I've wanted. It also has a good selection of make up to browse through while you're waiting. Perfect!

I'm a big fan of Boots. So it's rather ironic/sad that the closest Boots store to where I live it…read moreone of the more duff ones...one of the main issues I have with this store is their opening times. On the website it says they're open until 6pm every weekday yet I often walk past here at 5:40pm and they are closed. Either my watch is wrong or on occasions they do indeed close up before 6pm. Hmph. The reason I shop here on occasion over other local chemists is because of their own brand products which I really like. Mostly it's their own version of co-codamol (max strength) or a cold & flu medicine I'll pop in for as compared to the leading brands their version has the same ingredients yet is cheaper. Also their own vitamins and minerals are a pretty good price too and sometimes in a 3 for 2 offer. Not a very big shop this one but it has the essentials & then some ~ pills, toiletries, make up, baby shiz, first aid wares, etc...The make up in here isn't very extensive ~ only a few choices of brands (their own No.7 & L'Oreal to name two), however when they have the usual Boots deals on its worth a look to see if they maybe have stock in here that the other, larger stores don't. This Boots has a Pharmacy and you can choose to collect your prescriptions from here (I personally don't) or buy over-the-counter medicines & also speak to a Pharmacist for any minor ailment advise (for non-urgent, minor things this is better than making a doctors appointment sometimes). Staff-wise I have never found them to be the speediest or most friendly of staff. The last time I was in I was stood for a good few minutes whilst a member of staff carried on her conversation with another staff member with me standing & patiently waiting in full view of them. Not good customer service. Another minus for this particular store is that it is completely closed on a Sunday. Great. Sunday is probably, after Saturday, one of the busiest trading days in Glasgow. They're missing out & clearly missing the point.
