They don't have it written anywhere that the online store and actual store are different entities. They don't even state on the receipt or online that all their products are final sale. Beautiful furniture all around! Came here looking for furniture for the house after hearing great things from my friends and was greeted by our sales associate, Tat. Tat was great from beginning to end for us. We ended up purchasing a dining table set with a bench. A few weeks later when our bench arrived and picked up, we noticed there was a big hole in it and asked for an exchange on a different bench. The exchange was seamless and we were able to inspect the bench this time before taking it home with us. As for the table, it came delivered in the "white glove" service, meaning they bring it to your designated room and install the furniture for you. Scheduling a delivery date time was also fairly easy. The two delivery people were very nice and assembled our table quickly. I was skeptical at first after reading other reviews with the delivery service, but i'm very pleased with my purchase and entire process. The furniture here is modern, beautiful and great quality. Mobilia has delivered the wrong side of our sectional not once but TWICE now!! This is completely unacceptable. I can't even believe it. And there's no one to speak to about it to resolve this ridiculous situation. We had the same delivery drivers and they tried on their end to make sure we were getting the right side of our sectional, yet again we were delivered the left side after waiting 2 months from our initial delivery. I have shopped at Mobilia many times; majority of my home is actually furnished from this store. The sales process is always very good. The issue is with the delivery service. It is called 'white-glove' service and it could not be any further from this. The delivery team is rude, extremely messy. They do remove their footwear, however, are then walking around barefoot without any socks. The attitude is absolutely ridiculous - these people seem to hate their lives and want to spread their disdain and misery to those they are delivering to. I am basing this review on 3 separate deliveries. I do not think I will shop again at this store for the simple fact that I will not deal with their delivery people. read more

This is one of the worst stores I have ever had experience of dealing with. They are very nice and responsive till the time you make a purchase but once that is done and the order is delivered the company completely washes their hands off you. Their policies are designed to make it impossible for customers to go back and raise any issues which are encountered post delivery of the products. Forget getting a refund they will not even give you a full store credit and charge a ridiculous restocking fee! The store is stocked with polished items which look rich and well finished, basis which we had ordered our products, however when they were delivered there were scuff marks, polish was worn out on the sides of the product, the inside of the drawers had marks (paper, liner marks) as if someone had already used it. We reached out to Mobilia within 2-3 days of receiving the product to advise them of this and seek a resolution. We let them know that we would be happy to take a store credit, we thought we are being fair to them, and could always get something else. To our utter disbelief, they are asking us to pay them a restocking fee for taking the product back, and will then provide a store credit (not even a refund). When we raised the issue of how the product is old and worn out, the answer we received was "the product is not old or damaged, some trees soak longer (!!) and this is the look of the product". This is when a technician from their end took a look at it, and said it seems the damage might have been done during packaging and delivery and will need polish and touchup. Why would a new piece of furniture need it? I fail to understand why don't they stock the store with products which look like the ones they ship to customers. At least then we would know and be prepared to receive products which look like they have been used by someone for a few years! We have our money stuck with them, and my only I hope is that other honest, hardworking people don't lose their money with this store. read more

I had a particularly awful experience with Mobilia and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I bought a reclining sofa and a round marble table. The sales process went smoothly and the associates were helpful. However, the support I received after the fact was a nightmare. At the time of purchase, the sales representative said that the table would never have any issues but after just three months, I noticed a large amount of staining on the table. Attempts at cleaning the table were unsuccessful as it appeared to have been embedded deep within the marble itself. I asked some professionals to take a look and was told that usually marble has to be sealed in order to protect against staining and that the factory most like neglected to perform this critical step before delivering it to me. I reached out to customer service and got Gabriella, they told me that it's my problem and that they couldn't help me. I asked for a supervisor and got Arnold, they promised to call me back. Two months went by and they never called me. The sofa I bought also had an issue where the spring would occasionally make an audible pop when standing up. I reached out about it and got them to come out and take a look. The technician said to me that there was nothing wrong with the spring but would contact me with regards to getting someone to take the sofa back to the factory to resolve the issue. Again, no one ever replied back to me. I reached out again to customer service and got Alisha, who promised to get back to me but another week passed and nothing. I called Alisha again, this time seeking to speak to their supervisor, to which they said they wouldn't do. So I have no idea what kind of business they're running over there but I am absolutely disgusted by their customer service. It's one of the worst experiences I've ever had. If this is the level of warranty I got, could you imagine how absolutely abysmal the extended warranty must be. It's got to be the biggest scam in the world. read more

The store associates are really helpful and it's advised that you make an appointment in advance when they open back up again. They are very knowledgable about all aspects of the sofa from helping you find the right sofa for your space, building a customized sofa, choosing fabric, and colour. We ended up spending 90 minutes in here looking at the sofas and thinking through the customization options to make it fit in our space. At the end of the day, we also got quoted a fairly competitive price with good transparency about when stock is coming into the store. We were happy with our browsing and shopping experience here and would consider them again when looking for our next sofa. read more

Mobilia does not care about you as a customer, they only care about taking your money. We had an issue with our bed frame (which costed $4000+) and needed a replacement part. The delivery was 2 hours later than the expected delivery window and when the delivery people arrived, they said "I do not care that we're late". Prior to the delivery, we had requested shoe covers to be worn to be accommodating as we have 2 dogs and will have some dog hair on the floor. Mobilia continues to ignore our request and does not bring shoe covers. When asked to take off their shoes, they CALLED OUR HOME DIRTY and then RUDELY told us to "vacuum the floors in 5 minutes or I'm leaving". In addition to calling our home dirty, they threatened us. Due to their rude attitude and sheer lack of respect, we declined the shipment. I truly regret my purchase and would never shop here again. read more

This company is top notch. My couch was severely delayed due to Covid and shipping back ups. When I reached out to them they offered to take some money off my order for the inconvenience. Finally got my order; paid for white glove service and the delivery guys told me they didn't do that when they got here. They dropped the couch and left. I ended up having to put it together myself (not a biggie but I still paid for the service of them to build it). I messaged Mobilia about it, and not only did they handle it very quickly. They were professional about it start to finish. They refunded me the cost of the white glove service immediately and had dealt with the manner with absolutely no issues. Even though there was a couple bumps in the road to getting it; the customer service behind the brand is worth the purchase alone. Also the couch is beautiful. Very happy! read more

We've always liked Mobilia's modern furniture designs. However, the customer service unfortunately is a different story. We recently bought a bed from them and paid for their delivery and set-up service. We were told we would receive a call the day after from dispatch to schedule a delivery date. We didn't receive a call so we decided to give them a call instead. Left a message (as the machine asked) with our contact information twice. A few days past and still no reply. After numerous tries, we eventually got through to a live agent and managed to schedule a delivery date. Hooray! The day before the scheduled delivery date, dispatch calls and declares they have to reschedule. Having booked the service elevator and made arrangements to stay at home that day, we had to rearranged everything for the new delivery date. Inconvenient, but we're understanding people. I was told by dispatch to expect delivery to be from 12:00-2:30pm. Around 11:45am, I received a call, but was unable to answer as I was in a conference call, not expecting the delivery to arrive until at least 12:00pm as dispatch had stated. A few minutes later, we hear loud knocking at the door and realized it was Mobilia, here to deliver our bed, 15 mins before the scheduled time. Being early is great - what bothered us was the attitude of the delivery personnel. When we answered the door, they repeatedly asked "WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER MY CALL?" in a very rude tone, full of accusation. We're sorry that you and your dispatch department seem to have a communication problem because they clearly told us to expect you from 12:00-2:30pm, not BEFORE 12. We're even more sorry that you're so incredibly upset that we didn't answer your call that you seem to forget any ounce of manner and decency. As a paying customer, we don't expect world class, red-carpet service; what we DO expect is for our delivery to be relatively pain-free and accusation/attitude-free. We're paying for furniture delivery. NOT attitude and wrongfully placed accusations. /rant Mobilia, you've lost any of our future business. Worst customer experience, I will not refer anyone to this location. When I called the Markham location to confirm if my order has a arrived, as per instructed by my sales rep, Ted answered the phone and didn't have any answers so he proceeded to accuse me of cold calling him. I explained I was following instructions by another sales rep to call back today and thought it was really rude and he continued to argue with me. This is not helpful at all. Instead of being excited with my 3 purchases, I hung up the phone upset. Cold call is used to attempt to convince potential customers to purchase either the salesperson's product or service. If you don't know what the term means, don't use it. It's not my job as a customer to advise a message gets passed along. No integrity or accountability at all. read more

If you get their paid delivery service, you are supposed to get a call from them the day prior the scheduled delivery day to notify you of their 4 hour window for delivery the next day. This means that you need to leave your entire day open for them until the day prior. I never got a call from them the day prior to my delivery day and the delivery guy just showed up at my place with ten min notice. read more

After a long long search for furniture for my sister's new apartment we found Mobila by chance! The have very unique and special designs that you won't find in every ordinary store, so if you are looking for something unusual I definitely recommend Mobilia. THe prices are slightly higher than say IKEA and similar stores but still lower than La-Z-Boy and Ashley's.... THe service was very nice, the sales person explained to us exactly how the process works and helped us have the furniture delivered little bit faster. The prices were fixed, so there was no bargaining and going back and forth for the price, which I rather liked, cause I'm not good at it. Looking forward to getting my new furniture this weekend. It has been good experience until now, but anything changes, I will update this review for sure ;) read more

I love mobilia furniture but their dispatch service is HORRIBLE. The lady from dispatch gave us attitude and said they won't deliver to us because their delivery guys were waiting downstairs for 40 minutes and tried calling us multiple times. They recorded our number down wrong and blamed us for all the trouble. This has to be the WORST customer service I've ever encountered. It happened that we decided to fully renovate our condo and replace old furniture. The choice was Mobilia. After reading customer reviews; lots of negative I decided to try it anyways. After meeting Barbara in Dixie and Dundas's Mississauga location I decided to stick with Mobilia. Barbara was enthusiastic and went the extra mile by helping me to go through all process of shopping. Despite the situation that the store was shut down due to Covid-19 protocol and she was laid off, Barbara didn't leave me alone in the middle of shopping and scheduled delivery. She shared with me her cellphone number, so I could reach her any time and I could shop even more staff. Barbara was able to solve all the issues on the go by offering me different solutions. From home, she collaborated with her managers and delivery department to make sure that everything is right with my order. Barbara definitely managed to build trust with me and I can't wait for the next shopping in Mobilia. read more

Their show room is very nice, stylish and the sales rep, Tat was very knowledgeable and patient. However, all the good experience ends there. To pick up the items, it's impossible to get anyone at the store as they never picked up their phones during lockdown! After waiting in the cold for a long time, I found that their exit door was unlocked so I proceeded inside to look for someone at the store. The first lady I saw was on the phone and directed me to others inside. That's when a brown woman working at the service desks got very rude saying you're not supposed to be inside the store during lockdown! Totally can't believe I am treated as an criminal after spending thousands at the store. How do you expect customers to pick up without a proper system in place?! What next? Two of the four leather chairs were display items with stains which I rejected on the spot. Guess what with the other two which I brought home? They've been used as well. Mobilia is really spacious and has a pretty good layout which makes walking through the store quite enjoyable. Very pleasant and helpful staff. They offer stylish contemporary furniture for every room. If you're looking for casual modern furniture, check this place out. But I have bought from them before, and with this place, I must warn that it's really a hit or miss. They import a lot of their furniture from different suppliers, so it depends on which piece of furniture you end up buying. Some people have complained about terrible quality, others have expressed they are really happy with what they have. Different suppliers, different quality. Always ask the sales person where the furniture was made, and if they tell you the sofa is "all leather", for that price range, don't expect it's top grain leather. But if you're not picky on the leather grade, they do have some nice couches...Hit or miss, take your chances! read more

I was extremely hesitant to purchase anything from Mobilia after reading the not so great reviews but I have to say I am very impressed and pleased with the process and purchase of my new bed. We ordered it on a Saturday and paid for the delivery and setup service. The sales person told us we would receive a phone call from the delivery company on Monday, we did. We scheduled our delivery for Saturday. They told us they would call us back on Thursday to confirm a time, they did. The time frame was from 11:30-2:30, the bed was delivered at 12. Everything went as smooth as it possibly could. We have purchased many large furniture items from other big box stores and have had more problems with them. read more

I bought quite a lot of furniture and had great service in the store itself. The first pieces arrived on time. The table leg was scratched and another piece on a table did not fit. Both pieces were replaced without any quibbling. I was a little disappointed that they were not perfect right from the start but I am realistic. It could happen with any store. At least they replaced in a timely manner. The last piece had to be custom made and I think they must have been swamped because it is two months late. I think I will get it in two weeks. If you order custom you have to be prepared to wait since they make each piece individually. The furniture is unique and interesting. Also very pricey. The couches are very comfortable and look amazing. I am looking forward to having all the furniture together in one home. It should be very lovely. So full marks for the furniture when replaced. Full marks for service and even great delivery people. A little less on them not checking that all the pieces are intact and fit. And a little less for taking so long on custom pieces. read more

I really wanted to like this store. The items are modern and beautiful..but they really need to work on their customer service and delivery times which lead to a nightmare experience and non-returning customers! (which is sad, I originally wanted to decorate my entire apartment in their furniture..) I have still not received items ordered 2 months ago. The company originally told me that I would have to wait about a month to receive my items, which I agreed to. Since the expected waiting time, I now have to wait several more weeks until my delivery date. The company would not accommodate a non-morning delivery time any day of the month and their availability dates for a delivery are very limited. Apparently, deliveries to Toronto can only take place in the morning. People work and having such limited delivery options is inconsiderate of working professionals. Of course, their terrible delivery times were never disclosed to us when we purchased our items. The staff over the phone were also very rude and snappy. The whole experience has been very frustrating and not worth it! I expected much more from the store. ps. there is also no return policy at Mobilia. read more
