If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not get your phone screen repaired/replaced here. This was the first time i've ever needed to repair a cell phone and wow, what an experience. I had my iPhone screen replaced at mobilFIX and within 12 hours, the new screen literally cracked in my hand as I was texting...I did NOT drop the phone. I returned to the store the next day and the gentleman refused to replace the defective screen, unless I paid another $130 (the cost I had already paid to replace it). He hid behind the company policy that the store was not responsible for the damaged screen. Over and over he stated the store's policy. I replied that I understood it was the policy, but the policy will always go against the consumer (because mobilFIX can always say, "Well, you must have dropped it. It wasn't defective...and even if it was a defective screen, that's not our fault.") I said, "Let me get this straight. If I pay another $130 to have this defective screen replaced, then I walk fifteen feet out of the store and screen cracks in my hand while I am out of your line-of-sight, you will tell me I probably dropped the phone and it's not your responsibility?" His reply: "Yes." It's a real shame when stores lack the courage to take responsibility and stand behind what they sell. It's even a bigger shame when it's a local, 3-store mom 'n pop operation. I came into Mobil Fix for a screensaver for my Samsung A5. The guy at the counter was quite friendly and got me what I needed right away. I walked in at 4:00 and the whole transaction from start to finish took me all of five minutes. The price was right for tempered glass but I am deducting from the rating a bit because the only one they had doesn't perfectly match the shape of the phone due the 2017 A5 model's rounded edges. I didn't get to see the package it was in and it made me wonder if it was the one intended for the older A5 and not the 2017 model. I have heard really good things about the work they do on fixing phones so I would visit again for that but I might be more hesitant to come back for another piece of phone protection or an accessory. read more

MobilFIX does a great job. I have brought many phones many times to these folks to have my screen repaired. I can't say I've ever had a bad experience. I will say that they lost a star based on how long it too them to fix my phone this time around. Usually they take about 45 minutes. It took upwards of 3.5 hours. I would highly recommend them if you need a screen replacements on iPhone or blackberry. read more

I have to warn people about this place, DO NOT GO HERE! I walked into West Edmonton Mall on 170 street, because my NEXUS 4 was not charging. I brought my phone into their store to fix my a broken charging port. They told me they had issues fixing it and told to me to come back if it does not work. Cost me $70 and that was fine. 4 weeks later they charging port stops working and my phone was acting really weird, it kept crashing when ever i tried to charge it. I brought it back and said its doing what they said it might do! He told me he would not fix it and accused me of dropping my phone! I've never dropped my phone, he said the screen was cracked, there was not crack my screen and kept pointing a scratch. He was very rude and I felt like he was trying to get out of fix his mistake. I called him out on it and said this "THIS PHONE HAS NOT BEEN DROPPED, YOUR CHARGING PORT IS FAILING, LIKE YOU SAID IT MIGHT" Thats when he said, that they only warranty their work for 2 weeks and that they do not need to fix my phone. I stopped arguing with the guy at MOBILE FIX and went to another phone repair place, $50 later they fixed my phone, and confirmed that only thing wrong with my phone was a cheap 3rd party charging port from MOBILE FIX. Looking at their reviews on here and others sites, they seem to use "You dropped your phone" to avoid fixing their mistakes. DO NOT GO HERE, YOUR PHONE WILL NOT BE FIXED AND YOU WILL BE OUT OF MONEY. THEY DO NOT WARRANTY ANY OF THEIR WORK. THEY SEEM TO USE CHEAP 3RD PARTY PARTS THAT DONT WORK WITH THE PARTS OF YOUR SMARTPHONE! YOU'VE BEEN WARND. read more

Do not get your phone fixed by these guys. I brought my Sony Xperia Z2 phone in to get fixed and in 2 hours my phone was ready to go. Everything seemed great, until i realized that there was debris caught inside the front camera from the installation. Unfortunately i did not get back to the store within the 14 days so i decided to take matters into my own hands and open the screen up myself. Never a good idea. My LED screen no longer worked, so i brought it in again and asked them how much it would cost to get it repaired. They said they could fix it at full price. Even though I took matters into my own hands at that point, it was their fault that this happened due to a poor installation. After arguing with these guys for 20 minutes in the store the most they could do is knock off $20. I finally agreed and paid nearly full price. They said the phone would be ready by Wednesday. I called in on Wednesday, and they are told me the part is not in and it will be in by Thursday. I call again on Thursday and they told me that the part will most likely be in next week meaning that i am without a phone for just over a week. After i made a big deal about it on the phone they called me an hour later saying that the phone will guaranteed be in by Friday. Friday comes along and i head over to pick up my phone. Everything seems great and i take the phone back to my place. I look at the back of the phone and there is a crack going right across the back end of the phone. I pick up the phone again and explain the situation. The employee basically says that it wasn't like that when they gave it to me (insinuating that i broke it). after repeatedly arguing with these guys on the phone they tell me they can fix it for $60. I refused to pay another penny, so they finally gave in and fixed the crack for free. I pick up my phone, thoroughly exam it in front of them, and everything looks fine. 2 weeks later i'm with a friend who has the exact same phone, we compare phones and his LED screen is much more vibrant and colourful than mine, his front camera is clean and debris free, and i noticed the back of my phone where the flash is has parts missing. I couldn't believe it. At this point i don't want them touching my phone again. Bell quoted me at a rough estimate of $400 to fix. I STRONGLY suggest you do not go with this company. The customer service is terrible, and the installation is mediocre at best Good luck. read more

Mobile fix do not take anything there I have taken 3 phones there all have had some sort of issue after they fix it and they won't do anything about except take your money the tech that fixes phones knows nothing is very ignorant last issue phoned them same day they fixed my phone to tell them it was not working tells me come down he will fix it drive an hour drop phone off says he won't fix it cause his supplier won't warranty it it was less than 8 hrs old bad place much better and cheaper places in the city read more

They did a poor job replacing my screen with a used one, charged 300 for a 70 dollar part and an hour of work, and managed to break my charging port while doing it. After I asked about the warranty the owner just walked away from me. Recommended going anywhere else, these people clearly do not stand behind their work. read more

I cracked my iPhone 6's screen in Hawaii, and though it was still working well, I figured I would get it fixed because I could barely see anything on it. When I got to mobilFIX they told me it would take one hour to fix my phone. I come back to the store an hour later, and they tell me they have an issue getting the touch screen to work and that it's going to take a little bit longer. An hour later, I finally get my phone back. The screen isn't connected completely where the home button is. I'm charged $170 for the new screen. Immediately, my battery starts draining. So I have a mostly attached screen, but now I have a phone that goes from 100% charge to 32% charge in an hour without me touching it. (Before this my battery lasted 12-15 hours easily while in use) I call in to ask them if they can take a look at it, and the woman says that they have nothing to do with the battery and it's not their fault and I could "bring it in, but we won't do anything for you." Now, my new screen is slowly breaking off around the edges of my phone. A hairline crack has formed down the middle of my screen and the drop down menu doesn't work. Along with my battery dying at light speed. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Not even a week ago, I had 2 iPhones to be fixed. A 5 and a 5s. The lady told me that there possibly could be damaged inside and that I'd be taking a chance in getting them repaired. Also the price she quoted was double I got quoted at a small strip mall store on south side. But I thought I'd go to wem location to get options and give them business. I then looked at other options like their used phones. The lady showed me a 5s white (black only please) or a 5c. Now the 5c was in my budget. She said they are the same phone but ones a better phone with finger sensor etc. UNFORTUNATELY I CHOSE THE 5C. I heard that they were same. UMM NO THEY ARE NOT! ITS ONLY A 8GB phone. You can't even get those anymore. UGH. SO I ALSO HEARD THAT I HAD 30 days. Ummm NO AGAIN!!! Exchange only and if I want the white 5s I had to pay difference. WTF!!! I had this phone for 4 days.
