Wilson seemed like a very honest, straight forward businessman with a lot of experience. The prices here are unbeatable and the workmanship is outstanding. Owner operated. We chatted for a few minutes when I picked up my phone about the cost of replacing screens of various incarnations of the iPhone. I was surprised to learn how much it can vary. I'm glad mine was on the lower end. Wilson even graciously honoured the mention Yelp discount, despite his already reasonable prices. I hope I don't break my screen again anytime soon, but if I did (or needed any after warranty service) I wouldn't hesitate to return here. 5/5 P.S. - I had trouble finding his hours, so I've added them here to save everyone else the trouble.

I had my iPhone screen replaced at mobilFIX and within 12 hours, the new screen literally cracked in my hand as I was texting...I did NOT drop the phone. I returned to the store the next day and the gentleman refused to replace the defective screen, unless I paid another $130 (the cost I had already paid to replace it). He hid behind the company policy that the store was not responsible for the damaged screen. Over and over he stated the store's policy. I replied that I understood it was the policy, but the policy will always go against the consumer (because mobilFIX can always say, "Well, you must have dropped it. It wasn't defective...and even if it was a defective screen, that's not our fault.") I said, "Let me get this straight. If I pay another $130 to have this defective screen replaced, then I walk fifteen feet out of the store and screen cracks in my hand while I am out of your line-of-sight, you will tell me I probably dropped the phone and it's not your responsibility?" His reply: "Yes." It's a real shame when stores lack the courage to take responsibility and stand behind what they sell. It's even a bigger shame when it's a local, 3-store mom 'n pop operation. Btw, he offered a discount to replace the defective screen: $115 instead of $130. Beyond insulting.

I walked in at 4:00 and the whole transaction from start to finish took me all of five minutes. The price was right for tempered glass but I am deducting from the rating a bit because the only one they had doesn't perfectly match the shape of the phone due the 2017 A5 model's rounded edges. I didn't get to see the package it was in and it made me wonder if it was the one intended for the older A5 and not the 2017 model. I have heard really good things about the work they do on fixing phones so I would visit again for that but I might be more hesitant to come back for another piece of phone protection or an accessory.

But sometimes from even falling off the couch don't be surprised to see a chip on the edge of the protector. I've yet to have any of these protectors from here last me more than a month, I also have a Otterbox wallet case always on. So pretty annoying when you randomly find a nice crack in it. The initial price is a little more expensive than normal, but also 10$ for replacement, but that's where they get you, give you a Semi- quality protector well knowing you'll be coming back soon cause the quality and the 10$ replacement fee. Compared to buying another new one for 30-50$ else where. From all the times I've went and got it replaced I surely could have found one that doesn't break nearly easy. I've tried their normal protectors, Edge to edge, Privacy. All still seem to get a nice crack easily.
