They don't pay their notaries! They collect the payment from title companies etc but the notary who does the job doesn't get paid. After 60 days of no payment I looked them up and realized that it happens all the time with this company. You need to literally chase them to get paid. No integrity at all. I had very bad experience that they didn't pay for me with three months payments. I tried to call and email them may times, but they ignored me , no reply my email or my calls. And many notaries had the same issues no payments to them, either. They reserved for bad services, bad quality, and zero star rate. read more

According to their stated payment policy: Net 30 days Payment via e-check through Deluxe Checks No invoice required Despite following all guidelines, I have not received payment. This notary was referred by a third party, Trust & Will. we scheduled the appointment two days in advance for them to come to my hotel so that my father could sign a will, and some trust documents before I flew back home to Vegas later that day. This was in New York. Turns out this company is based in Las Vegas and NOT New York. Instead of doing the honest thing and admitting they don't have any contacts with notaries or witnesses in New York, they sent me an email an hour prior to our scheduled appointment stating that they don't have any witnesses to accompany the notary, so just wait indefinitely and they will try to find one. Excuse me? sure, let me just stay in a hotel for days on end while you try to find a couple of witnesses. That would have been fine, and no problem had they told us a day or two before and not one hour before the appointment when we are all sitting in the hotel, expecting them to show up. They could have even shot me an email the night before, and although not ideal, I would at least have some time to find an alternative. Nope. My elderly 82-year-old father who struggles drove there from far away. completely blew us off and wasted our time, essentially a no-show, even though they had two days notice. and of course, we had already paid in advance $180. fortunately, after a few phone calls, we found a local notary who showed up with two witnesses within 45 minutes and we got it done. This company was incapable of accomplishing in two days what a a local notary could accomplish within 45 minutes. absolutely outrageous that they pulled this on us. almost had to reschedule my flight, made it by the skin of my teeth. I don't like writing negative reviews against businesses, but their nonsense almost cost me hundreds of dollars having to book a last-minute flight change. I'm not having it. I have used dozens of mobile notaries over the years, but this the only one that didn't show up. If anything I have said here is not true. I will happily delete it. read more

I did a signing a year and two days ago on behalf of Mobile Notary Zone and I still have not been paid for my services - I was assigned an order by MNZ in my location in Florida - doing the work for them! They got paid, but they never paid me. That is what I call a lack of integrity. read more

I rarely use forums such as this to resolve issues, however, after almost 6 months of attempting to receive payment from this company-- calls, emails, and texts in which the owner agrees payment is due and promises each time that the payment will be made and yet nothing happens, I can only use this method to warn other notaries that this is not an honest, ethical signing company. Notary loan signing agents rely on the signing companies who assign closing jobs to pay for the services that we perform for them. It's a relationship based on the assumption that all parties will act with integrity--the title company assigns a contract to the signing service who then requests the services of the notary, the notary performs the service, title pays the signing service who in turn pays the notary. It's a process that works 98% of the time until you meet a company such as Mobile Notary Zone. In my case, the owner always seems honest and congenial when he swears that 'the payment is one its way in 48 hours'! He has said this no less than 10 times!!!! I live in Texas so the cost to pursue this in small claims court is prohibitive since the location of this business is Las Vegas; I've reported this to the Better Business Bureau who has responded that payment issues such as this is out of the scope of what they handle so now the $100 that I am owed is simply an issue of just 'what's right'. I don't even NEED the $100, except it's MINE! I'll probably never receive it but at least I can alert other notaries of the problem that I've experienced with this company and so far, the only signing company that I have worked with,, to behave in this unethical, dishonest manner. read more
