This is an awful experience. I needed a Notary+Authentication+Foreign Embassy Legalization for a legal document to be used in a foreign country. They heard that I'm probably a foreigner and asked for $2500. After I told them that it's too pricey they dropped to $700. Other service provider laughed at the price and charged only $100+ for the entire process. Afterwards, they saw this comment and called to ask me to take it down. They threaten to have legal representative contact me and will report me to government. Their lawyer even directly called me a scammer. So here is what it is: they quote high price, if you accept it you would pay way much more than if you find other merchant. If you comment honestly about it or they would mess up with you all the way to delete the review. I would keep this post updated if they contact me again, and would record all calls from them. This is extremely UGLY. I would update if we end up in court and will post the referee and other court document here. The way they conduct business is simply ugly. read more

I had my realtor in another state call me in a panic the other day saying I needed to have myself and my husband sign closing docs, for a property we were selling there, signed, notarized, and overnigbted by that same evening. My husband was at work at the time and couldn't leave his place of work, so we were going to have to wait until he got home. I looked for a mobile notary and Frank had top reviews. I went to his website and booked a time, just a few hours later that same evening, and Frank emailed me shortly after to ask if he could come earlier which was no problem. I can't say enough about Frank Metayer. He puts all other Notaries to shame! I called many Notaries and stopped my search after talking to Frank. Not only did he have the best prices but he sealed the deal with his kindness and professionalism. Frank takes his business seriously. Like the other reviewer said, he shows up dressed up and ready. He goes above and beyond too! I e-mailed him all the documents I needed notarized and he was able to give me a really good flat fee. I cannot say anything bad about Frank...he came to our rescue at short notice. I contacted him at 7:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning for an urgent matter. Frank asked to see the documents that he was going to notarize. I forwarded them to him, and he gave advice and input as to some of the other requirements that may be needed depending of financial institutions. Needless to say, he was asked to be at my parent's house at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, and he made it there suit and tie, complete business attire and very professional. He was very sympathetic to our family's situation and yet made this process easy and understandable.
