We made our way to Speedy as it wasn't far. They took has right in and checked out our van. They found the caliper for the parking brake was sticking on that side. They got it free so we could travel home as long as it we didn't engages the parking brake on our van. They told us to contact our dealer and it may be covered under warranty. We were they at least 30 minutes, they had our van in the shop on the hoist and didn't charge us anything to get us safely back on the road. Great people at this shop. My daughter and I were travelling from NS to ON in two separate cars. As we approached the NB…read moreborder from NS, my daughter called me to say that her car was really squeaking loudly. We stopped at the border to take a look. There was something not right about the rear driver's tire spring, it was hanging down and her tire was very close to the top of the wheel well. We called ahead to Speedy in Moncton on Mountain Rd. They were able to squeeze us in (this was late Friday afternoon). We drove very cautiously and anxiously to their location. They got her car in right away. They inspected the vehicle and brought us in to show us the problem. They were able to replace the broken (rusted out) lower controller arm. They inspected the passenger side and told us that would could most likely make it back to ON with it as it was. After we took a look at it, we asked them if they would replace it as well as it appeared to us to be pretty rusted out also. It should be noted that they DID NOT upsell us for the second controller arm. For safety concerns, we asked them to replace it. They completed both replacements efficiently. We were pleasantly surprised by the cost of the repair and left feeling much reassured that we could continue on our way safely. Bob, Mike and Kim treated us very kindly. We greatly appreciated their professionalism. Kim even suggested where we could stop to have the tires re-torqued (Woodstock). This mama was so relieved that her duckling arrived safe and sound to her destination. I offer my deepest gratitude to Bob and his staff. One thing though, if you bring your car there to get the tires switched (from winter to summer tires, or the other way around), be very sure to tell them you don't want any extras. Last time I got my tires changed there, there were about 100$ of charges just related to change the tires. Needless to say, I was a little ticked off.

The manager believed that brake pads should be the cause, and he replaced them (at a cost of roughly 500$). Eight weeks later, the brakes started working very deficiently. I took the car back to the workshop, feeling very worried, because I was having strong difficulty stopping the car. This time, the manager decided to check the brake lines and suggested replacing them, at an additional cost of 300$. I agreed to that and the work was done. However, I still cannot understand how it is possible that they have not checked the brake lines when I first took the car there? I made a Google search with the question: Is it normal to check the brake lines if a car loses brake fluid? Answer: "Yes, checking brake lines is the most critical step when a car is losing brake fluid, as leaks indicate a serious, unsafe issue that can cause total brake failure." Brakes are a very important part of car safety. Thus, I do not recommend this place for that type of service.

Great shop, for more than just tires! First experience with them was getting four all-weathers put…read moreon that I didn't even buy there, and they treated me great. I ended up there when my long-time mechanic was too busy to do that for me (in the timeframe I needed, work travel upcoming) and he said "Call Coast on Baig, I'd take my car to Bill and not think twice, they're good over there". That was all I needed to hear from another mechanic I knew and trusted over the years. Fast forward 4 years and they just did a complete front/back brake replacement and a complete clutch replacement for me on a 2011 Forester and they treated me very well. They have a couple great mechanics on staff and their knowledge will save labour cost. They are more than fair on parts and definitely shaved a bit for me when they found hidden problems...that they had warned me they wouldn't know "till it was apart". Cannot speak highly enough of the front end staff and how easy they were to deal with, up front about costs, process, timeline, etc. Bill and Ed and the gang are great over their. Went to Shepp's to have my transmission repaired as needed. After a large bill I asked what exactly…read morewas done to my vehicle? In Response they said everything that was done was on the repair order. When I looked down at the poorly not legible repair order I needed to have it explained what most of the words said as the penmanship was bad and not typed. On my way home after picking up my vehicle from Shepp's my vehicle stopped driving forward and only in reverse. So I called Shepp's and was shocked that they wanted to replace my transmission that they had just supposedly repaired. They quoted me a minimum of 3500$. My vehicle was in better condition befor I brought it to them. Then after they supposedly fixxed it. I will not be bringing anymore vehicles to them as they are crooks.
