We were very unhappy with our use of mobile attic. We used them for storage for the last four months and we definitely wish we would have spent the extra few dollars a month to use PODS in order to store our belongings in a climate controlled inside unit. While unloading our belongings, we found two mice and many of our belongings were ruined. We had to go buy new beds, towels, anything with yarn or soft materials. Anything that was not ruined had acorns, urine, and feces all over it and in the boxes from where the mice had been in them. When we reached out to mobile attic, they said because we did not purchase the"premium" package that they were not responsible and at NO point were we told anything about a premium plan. They said we could send in some pictures and the manager would take a look and consider helping us out but that email was sent 6 days ago and still no response to my email. They also do not offer any insurance which should have been a red flag to not use them. read more

We recently completed an in town move and researched several options for how to get our stuff from one place to the next. Mobile Attic was a little more cost effective than some other competitors so we went with them. Mobile Attic was very quick to respond to all of emails promptly and followed up on all commitments. The only critique I would offer is that they do deliver and pickup the storage units on a flatbed which tilts the contents at about a 25 degree angle at both delivery and pickup. I was not expecting this (prior experience with other competitiors utilizies an overhead crane which keeps everything level). The service was great and the pricing was very competitive. If you are ok with the flatbed delivery system, I highly recommend Mobile Attic over the alternatives. read more

Outstanding in every way! I did much research when choosing a storage company and Mobile Attic seemed to have the best reviews and to my surprise beat everyone's prices - significantly! From the very start the employees at Mobile Attic were very professional and extremely friendly. I was very disappointed with my Mobile Attic experience and would NOT recommend them to anyone else. I sold my house in the spring; my new home was under construction and I couldn't move in for several months. I moved all of my furniture, clothes, etc. into the large storage unit offered by Mobile Attic based on the claims on their website of superior quality storage units. Their website specifically states their units feature a "unique design that keeps your belongings cooler and less humid than any other storage unit. Our Mobile Attic is designed to keep your belongings protected from the elements through all four seasons no matter if it is stored on your property or ours." However, when I got my items out of storage, several things were damp to the touch. Several boxes were so wet they fell apart when moved. All of my upholstered furniture, area rugs, clothes, and linens smelled of mildew, and several pieces had mold/mildew growing on them. The most disappointing aspect, though, was when I contacted Mobile Attic to discuss the problems. My initial e-mail went completely ignored. When I called to follow-up on my concerns, the customer service rep verbally expressed sympathy and then promptly sent an e-mail stating they weren't responsible for any damage, even if the damage was due to Mobile Attic's neglect. It stated, "Despite rigorous maintenance, this equipment can and does malfunction which increases the potential danger and risk. This equipment is operated by a well trained human being that can and does err... you assumed all risk and liability associated with us doing and or attempting to do our job on your property, including damage to your property and or belongings." She continued to state, "However, it means something to us that you trusted us over the competition to care for your belongings... Please reply to this email stating your desired resolution." I requested that Mobile Attic pay to have my furniture and rugs professionally cleaned to remove the mildew and mold. I did not ask for monetary compensation. I did not ask to replace anything. I did not ask for cleaning of items that I could easily launder on my own, like clothes and linens. I never heard back from them. The e-mail signature of the manager of the local Mobile Attic said, "Blessings," implying the manager was a man of faith and--presumably--operated his business in a manner that would be consistent with his faith. Refusing to stand behind your word when your product or service does not live up to the advertised claims is not, in my view, consistent with that. read more

We had to get everything out of the 1st floor of the house, because we were having the floors sanded, stained, and finished. Mobile Attic came recommended by our contractor. The cost was reasonable. The quality of the container was excellent. It sat in our driveway for a couple of weeks. And, though our driveway is the next thing that needs fixing up, no damage was done to it. Be aware that the flatbed truck is tall, with the container on it, so the system does have to fit under any tree limbs. The drop-off and pick-up came on the expected day, though later than predicted. All in all, great experience. Very friendly and competent folks, with a good product that works as advertised. read more
