Great Customer Service! Store was clean and there was product on the shelves. The crew is very friendly and the restrooms were clean.

Well lit, clean, and convenient location off of the main road. Cheaper prices than CT so that was a bonus.

The canopy and gas pumps are new also, and the parking lot and parking spaces seem better laid out than the old Shell gas station's configuration. Inside, there is a Dunkin' Donuts counter, but no place to sit down to enjoy your coffee or donut, although there is a drive-through. Seasons Corner Markets are the creme de la creme of convenience stores, featuring two bathrooms; a wide array of drinks and snacks; amenities such as a F'real shake machine; neatly organized and well-stocked shelves; and professional, polite employees. Although the store itself is much larger than the old, cramped store it replaced, the aisles between the shelves of merchandise seem a bit narrow. They have a good selection of frozen foods and premium brands of ice cream, but expect to pay full price for those sudden cravings. A 59-oz. bottle of orange juice (the 'new' half-gallon, lol) will set you back about $5 or $6, considerably more than a supermarket special sale price. But, I had a bad OJ craving as I was driving by here Christmas Eve, so I just had to have it. This business is located at the very busy intersection of routes 5 and 113, although there are plenty of curb cuts and traffic lights to make entering and exiting manageable. I'm a big fan of SCM convenience stores, and I would probably rate this one at 4.5 stars, if Yelp allowed half-star increments in individual ratings. I don't think it's quite 5-star worthy because the landscaping is not as fancy as other locations, and there are no tables or counters to sit down inside.

Sunoco - I purchased $35.09 of gas at Sunoco. 629 Bald Hill Rd in Warwick

There was no sign or notice stating that they hold 100% of your gas money for buying gas. This is horrible and against the law. They wouldn't give me my money back because they said it would automatically refund at 9pm the next night. Although it's a small amount I'm taking them to court. Don't go to Sunoco gas

Yet another weird experience in this Twilight Zone of a gas station/convenience store …read more... I stopped here Friday afternoon to get a Red Bull, only because I was driving right by there. The SECOND that I entered the door, the over-enthusiastic girl behind the Subway counter to the left greeted me ... even though I was walking in the opposite direction toward the convenience store counter. Ok, whatever. She's probably bored. I can't imagine that this Subway-in-a-gas-station sees much biz. After I got my Red Bull from the cooler, I approached the checkout counter, where it got even weirder. A very elderly woman, who had to be pushing, if not over, 90 years old, was sitting on a chair in front of the checkout counter, holding a piece of paper to her forehead, scunching her eyes. I wasn't sure if she: a) Was about to tell someone's fortune; b) Had a migraine headache; or c) Was doing her best Karnac the Magnificent impression (a recurring skit on the late Johnny Carson show, may you rest in peace, Johnny). Then, I turned around to look at a high-mounted Keno flat-screen display and realized she was probably trying to ascertain her lottery numbers. There were two people at the register. I wasn't sure if they were: a) husband and wife; b) mother and son; c) brother and sister; or d) none of the above. After I handed them money for my purchase, both of them participated in getting my change. Perhaps she was training him on how to use the register or something. The dude, who appeared to be of Middle Eastern or perhaps Indian descent, awkwardly handed me my change. He could barely speak English, and what little he did speak was largely unintelligible, almost like grunting. And his halitosis nearly knocked me over. Folks, if you work with the public, kindly practice proper hygiene, please. As I went to leave (not soon enough), I pushed on the right door, which didn't budge, and the Subway girl flashed a pseudo-helpful smile and said, "Other door!" (No shit, I thought to myself.) She clearly doesn't get much human interaction ... she reminded me of a spider, waiting in a web, for any form of life to fly or walk into her little corner of the world.

I'm thinking this Shell is probably somehow connected with the station at the bottom of Wickenden in Providence. I just can't be too enthusiastic about it, despite my frequent visits, because it so freaking chaotic here and the gas prices are always high. OK - it does pass my newly developed yelp litmus test whereby a business scores an automatic star if it could sustain me for twenty four hours, serving all my basic needs, if I was trapped there for a 24 hour period. But ya see? Only two more stars, despite convenience of location up the street from my house. Why? Well - because it COULD sustain my needs for 24 hours, I think that there are actually those who try to make that happen here. I mean, it's not tent city, but there is a constant logjam of cars that are in a mad rush to pump their gas, go inside to get their DD fix and then get their Redbox...all while leaving their car parked in front of the pump. I mean we do pay close to $4/gallon for gas now but it's not like your paying rent to keep your car parked after you're done fueling up! The parking is limited here but that is not a reason for such a display of entitlement (insert sound of soap box getting put back in closet). On the flip side, this spot does provide a great location for the weary, gas poor traveler to make a rest stop. It is very accessible to both 95 north and south, with EZ off and on ramps less than a quarter mile away. The bathroom is clean, the pumps are kept up and well-lit at night and the Dunkin' Donuts gals do a great job at their full-service little kiosk. There is also a coin - operated air pump, an outdoor Redbox, an inside ATM and a well-stocked convenience store. Not bad. I guess.
