On our way back from San Diego to Oceanside, we stopped here at Mobil to get gas. At first, I thought I would be pumping at Chevron, but as I turned into the parking lot, I realized Chevron and Mobil share the same parking lot and they happen to be on the same block. It really didn't matter which gas station I pumped at because they both had the same gas price of $5.09 per gallon for 87 regular octane. Mobil was well lit. It had about 8 gas pumps. It also has a food mart. I paid at the pump so I didn't have any interaction with staff or any experience inside food mart. It was a very quick visit just as any other gas pump visits. Gas station repeated displays a different price than at the pump. If you say something, they say the owners aren't there they must have not changed it, but it's been happening for a while. They are scamming people every day a dollar here a dollar there making so much money it needs to be stopped. I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau. It's ridiculous. read more

We needed gas on our way to Sea World (don't go there, it is awful), so stopped at this Mobile in Oceanside. It was very nice and clean. The service inside was friendly and my grandson got all the snacks he just had to have to keep driving. We liked this place. I did not use the restroom so I can't offer an opinion, but the entire area was clean and we felt very safe there. Have fun. read more

I have gone to this Mobil Gas Station at least a total of 8 times last year only. I sometimes stop at this Mobil Gas Station when it's on my way coming back from getting my car serviced at my local automotive repair shop. This Mobil Gas Station is convenient for me when I am in this area. This is my primary reason for giving this (okay rating) for their convenience and their customer service is always okay. None of their cashiers have ever been rude to me. I had a couple of issues using this Mobil Gas Station on my previous visits. Their car wash machine doesn't work properly. The way their car wash machine is made and set up; it had caused an issue with getting my Honda Civic Car properly aligned onto their rack on the ground. This happened to my car twice when I was trying to get my car washed last year. If my car is not properly aligned with my car's 4 wheels that have to be perfectly aligned with their rack that is located on the ground then their car wash will NOT turn on at all. That really bothered me. I went inside and I explained to this woman cashier regarding this issue that my car has to be perfectly aligned with their car wash rack located on the ground. This woman cashier said to me, don't feel bad because, I am not alone and a lot of their other customers have the same problem. I told this woman cashier that I am DONE. Twice is enough for me to deal with this issue on the car wash machine not working properly. I usually will give something 2 times to work something out. If something does not work, the second time I tried my best to resolve this issue, I will leave. I filled my car up with gas 7 times last year. I noticed that Mobil Gas Station prices have increased and are more expensive than the Chevron Gas Station I go to on a regular basis. This location on this Mobil Gas Station it determines their gas prices. I mean this Mobil Gas Station is located in the corner left hand side and is nearby a lot of business places. This Mobil Gas Station is really convenient for customers to drive up to this place and fill up their gas when they need to. The (second issue) for me is this Mobil Gas Station is extremely congested with too much traffic and these cars are going over the speed limit past this Mobil Gas Station. Whenever, I fill up my car with gas at this Mobil Gas Station, all of their lanes are always crowded with a lot of cars and I have to wait at least (15 minutes) before I can fill up gas in my car. I decided that I don't want to wait (15 minutes), that is a long time to fill up gas in my car. I can go to another gas station with less cars and then leave to go shopping some where sooner. Their customer service is okay. Sometimes the food they sell is really old and dried up. I bought 2 cheese burgers and when i got home and heated them up in the microwave oven. I noticed these 2 cheeseburgers were really old and the cheese was all hard. My advice is don't buy their cheese burgers. read more

This is our rendezvous point to pick our daughter so we usually always come inside and get snacks, drinks and usually fill up on gas. Parking is good since it's shared with the Denny's next door. Once walking into the store you most likely be greeted by the employees that work there. We usually always have a good conversation with them, they are very nice and always are extr helpful. It also is a liquor store and they have a vast majority to choose from. From beers, spritzers, to liquors I've never heard of! So pull up, fill up your gas tank and grab some snacks, some energy drinks and also grab some alcohol to drink at home later and relax. Also there is an ATM as well for individuals who need cash. They also have cash back after pay as well! read more

The guy attending the counter was rude and was such a jerk. I asked him if there was a bathroom inside. He said no and I asked him if he knew where the closest one was. He said no and uttered that he wasn't google map in a sarcastic manner. Excellent customer service...nice way to treat your paying customers. Very unnecessary! They don't appreciate your business here and it shows...better go somewhere else like Chevron down the street. read more

When you're running out of gas (I swear, all I do is 'almost' run out of gas all the time!), you look for the closest gas station...and this was it. Less than 100 feet from the exit on the 5...yes, prices are a bit higher but not nearly as high as the chevron around the corner. They were 30 cents higher. Seemed to be super crowded today. I'm with Glenn C. This place only exists because of its location. It's dirty inside and the restroom inside is even worse. The place is busy (crowded, actually) but we got what we came for: fuel. There is a chevron at the stop light. You're better off going there. We saw it as we were leaving the Mobil. Too late for us. Now you know. read more

If I could give give them no stars I would! My mom went into to use the restroom in an "emergency" situation. The male attendant starting kicking and banging on the door demanding she come out immediately or he was calling the police. When my dad came to see what was happening the female attendant told him there was "a line of people" waiting. There were two other people in the building, neither of which needed the restroom. Easy gas station coming off the freeway and running out of gas. Served its purpose. Good size mart inside, cheaper gas prices than Chevron next door, friendly staff, newer pumps. This is one of those service stations that exist because of the sheer volume of customers that come off the highway to go to the beach. Its dirty, small, the lot is full of potholes, it's dirty, the pumps are antiquated and it's dirty. This station is the equivalent of a rest stop bathroom to a car. I bet every car that leaves here feels like they need a car wash. I do not recommend getting gas at a place that does nothing to keep up the exterior of the house...what could they possibly be doing to keep their fuel tanks clean? You are asking to have clogged fuel filter and engine damage by filling up here. All in all not impressed. Not recommended. read more

I have had to use this gas station out of necessity too many times and am disappointed without fail. The gas makes my car run, but if I have to step inside I am greeted with nothing but HORRIBLE customer service. The place is filthy and the employees are RUDE and will go out of their way to ignore you. Avoid this place and go to the Chevron up the block. read more

Would NOT recommend going to this place to buy beer. They overcharged me for a 12 pack of beer (paid over 20 dollars which is insane). I was checking other things out and didn't notice until I got home how much they had charged me. Then when I called to ask them to see if it was an accident, they were extremely rude and didn't give me the actual price of the beer over the phone. Never again will I go to this place. read more
