I am a senior woman. I was passing through on a road trip the other evening and was hungry, wanted a snack for the road. The attendant asked me when I entered the store, "What do you want?" I told him, "Just a snack." I picked up a soda and bag of chips. He says, "Are you handicapped?" I replied, "Not officially, why?" He told me I was parked in a handicapped space. I told him I did not see a handicapped sign. I asked him to show me where the sign was. He would not answer me or show me. (I was the only customer in the store at the time, and I would have moved my car if he had asked me) He went outside and was taking a photo of my car. I was upset with how rude this man was to me, so I put the soda and chips back and turned to leave the store. He had come back in the store and was talking to someone on his phone. I figured he was calling the police!! As I was getting into my car I was looking around for a handicap sign... and I then saw one high above the large ice chest in front of the parking space I was in. Never expected to ever see one that high off the ground and over the ice chest. And it was dark and not easy to see. Also, there was no handicap signs painted on the pavement. Nothing directly in front of my car at eye level. This guy is rude to women and I took my business elsewhere. read more
